And is why YellowSnow is the thinking man's lefttard tuff logging camp liberal. He's got the intellectual honesty to admit something went horribly wrong somewhere along the way and acknowledges that it needs to be fixed.

I wish I could claim some Tuff Logging Camp Liberal Status, but for better or worse, I voted for the R in every Presidential election from 1996- 2012. The best label for me is ex-country club Republican, turned independent.

Rather was a partisan grandstanding hack with questionable journalistic ethics even from his very early days.

Here a recounting of the time shortly after the JFK assassination where Rather in an attempt to smear conservatives for somehow being responsible for JKF's death, smeared school children by falsely claiming they had cheered Kennedy's death.

Since that time the left has turned in to lap dogs of the government agencies demanding that we all conform to their vision of America or else

Hard to believe that you once doorbelled for McGovern
Quite honestly this little crew you have assembled would have given Nixon’s plumbers and Donald Segretti a run for their money. Fake press releases. Roque emails. Five reasons. Etc.

Of course as a righteous Dem, I could never partake in such reprehensible behavior.

Remember all the Muslims cheering in NJ on 9/11? That was horrible.

    "Chicago"

Though your brother's bound and gagged
And they've chained him to a chair
Won't you please come to Chicago
    Just to sing

In a land that's known as freedom
How can such a thing be fair
Won't you please come to Chicago
For the help that we can bring

    We can change the world
    Re-arrange the world
It's dying ... to get better

    Politicians sit yourselves down
    There's nothing for you here
Won't you please come to Chicago
    For a ride

Don't ask Jack to help you
'Cause he'll turn the other ear
Won't you please come to Chicago
Or else join the other side

    We can change the world
    Re-arrange the world
It's dying ... if you believe in justice
It's dying ... and if you believe in freedom
It's dying ... let a man live his own life
It's dying ... rules and regulations, who needs them
    Open up the door

    Somehow people must be free
I hope the day comes soon
Won't you please come to Chicago
    Show your face

From the bottom of the ocean
To the mountains on the moon
Won't you please come to Chicago
No one else can take your place

You fags were probably listening to Rod Stewart

There's only 1 Chicago that I listen too.

Graham Nash was faggy, hippy protest music. Neil wrote the tuff protest songs.

When super-smart liberals ask what I need a gun for because the gubment wouldn't hurt a fly, I like to remind them 4 dead in Oh Hi Oh.

That's what I like to do.

Well the Kent St kids armed with guns would have made that situation worse, but still I appreciate the point.

This is humorous because it’s still the suburban country club Republican party of Reagan and the Bushes as far as policy goes.

The difference is that now the leader of the party doesn’t know how to dance around the racism and wealth hoarding at the core of conservative ideology like a classical east coast elite Republican so the rot of conservatism since the late 70’s to its current state is just more apparent.
