Spoken like a true long haul trucker. How many dudes did you suck off at the rest stop today?
You sound like you have experience in the mentioned field. So you drive an electric fucking fag mobile, just woman up and admit you take it in the dirt star!
My “fag mobile” as you so eloquently put it, is worth more than your double wide.
You don't have a car. You're a socialist loser who answers phones for $7/hr at your local DSA chapter who wants to steal other peoples' money.

Got to ride in a friends new Model 3. It was pretty tight. But I’m not really a car guy, so I’d drop all the bells and whistles and keep the electric motor. #SaveTheWhales

    Neither is Musk.

The Big Boys like Ford and GM just need more tim to get their own electric motors in there.

I’m banking on Ford. If they turn their production capacity into an electric model that is “cool” and reasonably priced, it will be everywhere. Didn’t the Ford CEO subtweet Musk basically saying they make as many cars in a few hours as it takes Tesla to make in a week? But it’s all about the battery tech...
I hate the fact that Tesla received the billions and billions of dollars from an Obama controlled government. Whether you like or hate Tesla or Musk, they/he abused the shit out of the American tax payer and used a lot of the money to get a massive head start over their competitors in the form of charging infrastructure. Will Ford have a proprietary charging infrastructure like Tesla? This is the issue I never see discussed in these debates. Ford et al have a major hill to climb in figuring this component out. Rather than hate the haters, w

But rather than sit back and bitch about what Obama was doing, I took the money he was offering, put it to work and have saved something like $70,000 over almost 3 years.

    $25,000 solar rebate
    $15,000 PG&E savings
    $15,000 gasoline savings
$15,000 EV federal and state rebate

People forget Ford publically eschewed bailout money but took $5.9 billion from the government to “retool their factories” to make “fuel efficient” vehicles.

Earlier this year Ford announced they’re dropping their entire car line except for the V8 gas guzzling Mustang and will focus on building SUV and Trucks.

Meanwhile Musk has doubled down, ramping up production on electric cars while bleeding.

Unlike Ford, Musk preys on the greed of ignorant rainbow chasing stockholders instead of fucking the American tax payers.

    Anyways, back to the thread.

WHat does being the fastest car have to do with anything? It needs to go city speed and highway speed. If it does those things efficiently I’m happy. I’m not living my life one quarter mile at a time.

I drive 45k a year...do you think I want to be behind your dum ass?
    Thoughts and prayers...that sucks
Yeah but they’re all highway miles.

*5 to Ford on those issues. I hope they're successful. No argument from me regarding Musk being a doosh.

I can't teleport the kids yet. Own a company an hour from the compound. Drive kids everywhere to school, then to office, then pick up from baseball, basketball, football and lacrosse. I have to play golf and get to the bar too man. Yeah, it sucks but has nothing to do with being able to WFH. Saw the new Porche EV today. Not sure I want to own their bleeding vag offering right away but it kind of looks cool.

Ford should pay it all back with interest.

I have a buddy (CSB) who has a Tesla. It's pretty damn quick. But any car that you stand next to and can't tell if it's running or not is not for me.

There are electric cars that can hit well over 300 mph in a 1/4 Mile. It makes sense as there are no gears. Just like your electric drill, max power in less than a 1/2 second.
Your speed in the 1/4 is a bit off. But your point is well taken. Of course there are a shit ton of electric cars that are way better to drive than the 67. The thing has roll up windows, drives like a tank, rattles your teeth when it's at a stoplight. Has no cup holders. (Though it does have 5 ashtrays). My small block has to take race fuel that runs 10 bucks a gallon. But still wouldn't trade them for a Tesla. (Haha, who the fuck am I kidding. I can't afford a Tesla.)
