I don't understand what is happening. I thought all MLS was out and proud, especially the fans.

DNC lives in the south. You'll have to forgive him if he's a little bit slow and a lot a bit racist.

Hopefully he knows what I mean when I smile at him and say "bless your heart."
Sincerely, the boreds biggest SEC dick rider.

    Bless it indeed.
    We want Auburn?

So @PurpleJ Mrs Snow tells me Euro Soccer is tuff. She lived in the fatherland in summer 2006 for work and went to some World Cup matches. But she says MLS is for feegs so this is what informs my opinion re: the domestic product.

It's a physical and emotional grind, that's for sure. Many of the top teams play over 60 matches a year, in addition to international play and training. Overuse injuries are common, as well as collisions (no pads bruh). In fact, many European fans have a distaste for international play because they feel it over exerts their most prized assets. I can't count the number of promising players that have had their careers ruined by injuries at a young age. But most are pretty tuff. There is a young striker on the Swiss team that broke his ankle in several places, and tore ligaments, only to come back after a year of rehab to make the squad. The potential for re-injury is for him is very high.

I don't laugh at MLS for not being tuff, though. If anything, it's a relatively physical league. I laugh at them for no promotion/relegation, playing on turf, playing through the summer, being a retirement league, generally being about as skilled as the English 3rd tier, getting owned by Mexican clubs, and having fat neckbeard hipster fans that wear scarves in the middle of July.

    Soccer is for poor people.

Any good sport is for poor people. Poor kids are more likely to become professional athletes. It's their only way out, so they put in the effort.
