So the majority doesn't think banning socialists is a good idea. Ok. How do you deal with them then? Because no one in their right mind wants those fucks running the country in the future. It would be the end of America. The alternative is to dismantle and rebuild the broken education system that failed to educate them about the evils of Marxism/socialism/communism. Trump getting to name another justice to the court will go a long way in pre-emptively breaking the legs of the next generation so that it will be more difficult for them to get these filthy systems of oppression and failure off the ground. It's all about stopping millennials from acting on the ignorance they were taught by their predecessors, Gen X and the baby boomers.
Dubya was the end of America. Obama was the end of America. Trump is the end of America. Now universal healthcare will bring us to our knees. Dubya was a nazi. Obama was a nazi. Trump is a nazi. Now paying for college is the same as gassing Jews.
And we don’t give a shit about the Supreme Court. We’ll just amend the constitution.
You're a difficult one to read and you're far from stupid, what's your deal? What do you have to gain from socialism? What makes you think your buddies will succeed where their predecessors have all failed in every country it's been tried in?
Capitalism is the best economic system humans have come up but it’s not perfect. And when and where it fails us we need to be willing to look at alternatives. Healthcare is the best example of this. We have the 37th ranked healthcare system and we are the worlds lone super power. Capitalism fails us here.
The countries with the best healthcare all have universal healthcare. It’s not about socialism, I want the system that’s the best. So if you can come up with a way to get America to number 1, where we should be striving to be on everything, that keeps the healthcare system in the capitalist system, I’m all ears. Until then, we have a problem, I have a solution and you’re screaming about Nazis.
The difference between us, in my view, is you think one economic system is inherently good and another inherently evil. I think they’re tools to be used. You can use the tools to do good and you can use them to do evil. It’s not the tools fault what you do with it. Guns don’t kill people, people kill people, right?
You asked what I have to gain. I believe a capitalist system that utilizes the best elements of socialism will make America the best it can be. I think kids walking off their college campus with a degree and no debt is good for the country. Just like I think improving healthcare is good for the country. Some people will have to sacrifice more then others to make the country a better place. But some asshole once said “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country” and I don’t understand how anyone that calls themselves a patriot doesn’t think that way.
This!
When people axe my about my political beliefs, I often say I'm FREE MARKET SOCIALIST.
Socialismo myths. The US doesn't have a free market healthcare system. We've been moving away from that for 30+ years and spending has gone up while health outcomes have gone down because of ever more government involvement in an attempt to "fix" the free market.
Government interventionism creates market imbalances and poor outcomes which it then uses to justify further interventionism. Socialist playbook 101.
Want to see what "American" single payer looks like? Look no further than Dialysis which ironically the GOP signed into law as single payer. It's a fucking disaster that is only getting worse.
Or what about "Universal care"...The VA would be your example of that. They can't get good outcomes for a population of people who are considered a sacred cows where no expense is too much.
Socialists should still be able to hold office. Much like the rest of the idiots that can.

“Government intervention creates poor outcomes”. Which is weird because the countries with the best healthcare are all government intervention. But I guess when you worship the almighty dollar then insurance companies losing out on record profits so that people can get quality healthcare is a “poor outcome”.

Except that until we started allowing government intervention into the free market we had the best healthcare in the world at the lowest cost.
It wasn't until the government "fixed" healthcare through medicaid, medicare, and mandating treatment that we dropped to 37th...
Sure looks like a free market right?!
Also, don't let confounding variables like American's poor lifestyle choices, the fact that unhealthy rich people tend to spend more on healthcare, or the fact that we have a de-facto fucked up universal emergency care system get in the way of your tired MSNBC talking points.
I agree that the current system is fubar. The root cause of that is the government's over regulation and a little concept called crowding out though. Not some mythic profits that the health insurance companies are making. If they were everyone would be buying their stocks and they would be crushing the trading floor. Why isn't that happening? Oh right, because they make single digit margins.
Bullshit. Links or it's not happening.
Sure thing. Also, because basically every major insurer is publicly traded you can also just look up the numbers yourself. It's not some fucking secret.
[The insurance industry's net margin in 2017 ranged between 3 and 10.5%. Life insurance had the widest range between quarters, from 3% to 9.6%; property and casualty insurance were at 3% to 8%; and health insurance had the narrowest range of 4% to 5.25%. The net margin for insurance brokerages in 2017 was higher than that of the insurance industry overall, at 9.27% to 10.5%.]

Except that "Having elements of a socialist system" actually means having a socialist system in these cases. Whether it's healthcare, schools, cellphones, airlines, or any other service or good the government is super inefficient at providing it whether directly through the means of production/capital or as a buying agent.
Ultimately, we both have very similar goals. Increasing availability and access while driving down costs. I think, and have a lot of evidence to support, that free markets do a better job of this than the government does. Even more to the point and why I give a shit, government drives prices up, restricts access, and basically poisons the well for everyone.
You're looking for a final solution. That would be the most expedient way. But we? aren't monsters, and we know that Nazis are failures too. The US has been bitten by the cobra
and the poison has to work its way out of the system. It was a self inflicted wound that has to be corrected.
Things to be done:
If any group attempts to seize power by undemocratic means, neutralize them immediately by force. Send the military to the border NOW. Arrest sanctuary state/city mayors.
Hold votes as soon as possible to amend the constitution on these 3 points:
-- The US is and will remain a capitalist economy/society. -- Term limits of 2 terms for ALL senators and representatives (to prevent consolidation of power). -- Border Security. The US is and will remain a nation state. It will not merge with any other nation. It will maintain borders and prevent passage over those borders of all aliens not possessing a valid visa. The gates will be CLOSED on these persons and they will be branded felons and deported immediately. ALL asylum claims will be processed OUTSIDE of US borders.
Force votes on all 3 of those issues. Get them on record as being for or against capitalism, term limits and open borders. It's a win/win scenario. Do it during an election year.
Continue stacking the courts with constitutionalists.
Prosecute media outlets that peddle fake news propaganda where intentional fraud can be proven in court.
Reform the education system. Withhold federal funds from ALL universities, colleges, high schools, junior high schools that don't abide by the first amendment. REQUIRE all of these institutions to have ANNUAL requisite courses on free speech. Other required courses would be on Nazi Germany, Soviet China, Russia and other communist nations, communism & socialism, capitalism, etc. that students must choose from so that by the time they graduate they've had to take all of these required courses, with a view to educating them about the evils of totalitarian systems of government, of why they fail and the fate of nations that embrace that kind of shit. Of the founding principles of America and why it works. Block their participation in college athletics if they don't comply.
It's not simple, but that's a start. The socialist poison will take a generation to work its way out of the system. BLOCK the millennials from exercising unconstitutional powers by tilting the supreme court constitutionalist for a generation. Hope that the following generation is educated enough to reverse the radical trends of the current times.

This libertarian gobbledygook.

I’d rather debate a flat earth, anti vaxx, 9/11 truther than pretend there’s an honest conversation to be had with a libertarian.
So far I'm providing evidence, citations, examples, and answering any questions anyone cares to in good faith propose.
You've got faith that socialism is the most effective system bc...reasons.
Whose the flat earther? GTFO
“In good faith” is immediately followed by flatly lying about my position that I’ve stated in this thread. I’ve seen this before, I know these tricks.
Fuck off. You have no idea what your position is as it changes like the wind from week to week. I’m pretty much convinced that you are a woman in fact. Which is fine. But just fuck off.

Even more to the point and why I give a shit, government drives prices up, restricts access, and basically poisons the well for everyone.
and the poison has to work its way out of the system.
And win it BIGLY.
Be elite in every catergory
