If I want high abv craft beer I go downstairs to my kegerator and drink my home brewed beer that costs me less than a $1 per beer and is higher quality than anything your buying at that price point that's on the shelf.

I would have said Ranier Dry. That's the last cheap American beer I can remember taking a drink of and thinking "damn that's not bad.". It's been so long since I looked in that section, like 20 years or more, that I don't know how long that was even made or if it still is.
I've bought a few Budweisers on the golf course. I guess that qualifies as my go-to in the category.
even at the value I can't choke it down...That and Rolling Rock are the worst for me. Give me a Schmidty, Hamms, Oly, MHL, CBB, Rainier...pretty much anything else and I'm happy.
Please forgive the WTF but gotta do it. Sam Adams is neither a pale lager, nor does it use adjunct grains. But still, it's an all time classic craft brew and in the HOF.

In order of taste:
Write-In Option
Miller Lite
Coor Light
Pabst Blue Ribbon
Rainier
Budweiser
Miller High Life
Coors Banquet Beer
Olympia
Bud Light
almost went with Rainier since I was weaned on it
Write it option, Trader Joe's Beer Beer.
Much prefer the Heavy Lift Ale they have that I pictured in the other thread. Also is 7% abv.
