    Within the past year

I had to think long and hard on this one (that's what she said).

I think it was Heart's Passionworks in 1987 when I was 16. Right before I got my first CD player.

    "Vinyl, CD, or Digital Download"

I left off cassette but who the fucks buys those? They do still sell them. There's even a few audiophile reissue companies doing reel to reel.
    I was responded to derek.

Who has fallen so low that he thought you were only referring to vinyl
yes guilty as charged. Skimming too fast while on my smart phone while making sure none of you knuckleheads is posting child porn on here.
I have volunteered for years to be a mod, but it appears the red man is just good for a few laughs and no real responsibility around these parts.

It used to be about 15 years ago that you could go to Half Price Books and get a stack of records for like $5. I mean good records not junk; I got Rumors for about $1. Now all the record stores want $20 for any decent record in good shape. The days of getting deals are over.

I get CDs at HPB - I lost my turntable in a divorce and never bothered to replace it. She also got all the LPs...
Well, probably the needle has gone bad by now. Serves the bitch right!

I had a huge collection of CDs in the early 90s. Bought almost all of them scamming Columbia House and the other one (BMG?), and at Tower Records and a used shop on the Ave. That ended for me in 1994, and I don't think I've bought more than 5-10 since then.
