I'm not following closely enough to know what year Huard is, but I do know that if a local kid is 5* then he automatically hates us, so this is a good strategy to deal with Huard going to Stanford and USC.
Huard is 2021, a legacy, and FSP. He may or may not actually get a 5* rating but he’s coming here either way.
You weren't fucking kidding. I didn't listen. But you know what, I'm don't regret it. It was beautiful and I loved every second of it. Even if he never comes here, it was worth it.
Kid actually reminds me of Lockner a bit. Kind of a big baseball wind up to his throwing motion when he brings the ball down by his waist but the kid certainly has ability.

Locker ran the wing-t and locked on to his primary received even under tutelage of QB Sark.
This kid is a sophomore in HS and can flip through X, Y, Z quicker than the first cum load you dumped.

I know Locker ran a wing T in HS. It's part of the reason he was slow to develop. Ya, he was limited at QB but he was the best athlete we've ever lined up at the position, bar none.
How's that arm dropping thing working out for Sam Darnold?
Point taken and I don't disagree with the idea that a big wind up for a QB is something that you'd ideally coach out of a player ... the whole wasted motion thing.

I kind of do disagree with that. QBs like Darnold, meaning relatively priviliged white kids from the west coast who can afford tutoring, have had so much coaching by the time they enter college that it's too late to substantially change their mechanics.
I watched a fair amount of tape of Darnold last year, and it was obvious he had worked to shorten his throwing motion, but it kept breaking down every time he had to slide around or scramble, which is when Darnold is at his best anyway.
Spending a lot of time fixing mechanics that are part of muscle memory is kind of a waste when you can spend that time learning things that have a much better chance of actually sticking, like both post and pre-snap reading of defenses, and adjustments.

Fuck all ya'all with your Lockner hate. That kid was a fucking stud with heart and we could have beat USC and Bama with him at QB in 2016 with the rest of the talent we had on the 2016 team.

Locker went 4-20 against Nebraska his senior year. What makes you think he could perform against a vastly superior Alabama team?

Don't do it.
You've been warned.

At least Locker didn't drop the ball down to his waist during his arm load/cocking motion. That's gonna be a problem if it doesn't get cleaned up.
