$600k ain’t shit. I’ve seen into the many millions.

The Clintons are smart - they don’t launder through their foundation. That’s the good guy front. They have shells companies upon shells upon offshore accounts upon offshore accounts.

And do you know for certain that perhaps the Throbber might possibly have passed that same exam at some point? And then some?

Hell, maybe the Throbber is even helping them with the guns and religion compound as a front.

Now we are getting somewhere. What money are the Clinton's laundering? I mean what is the underlying funds they are laundering and the purpose of laundering it?

    I'm genuinely curious.
The bribe money goes into the Clinton foundation and out to pay the coconspirators. They handle the payoffs not money laundering in the classic sense. HTH

Hey Moron...they don’t have to launder anything. The charity is the slush fund. They have a charity that doesn’t do much charitable activities, and instead funds their opulent lifestyle (flying, dinners, lodging, etc) in the name of “charity”.

Or, as a Clinton aide famously said about Chelsea:
“The investigation into her getting paid for campaigning, using foundation resources for her wedding and life for a decade, taxes on money from her parents..."

"I hope that you will speak to her and end this,"

If an investigation into something made you guilty.....I think you'd have a different opinion of Trump.

Lets “reach”for a second and assume the promised $100+MM donation to the “charity” to be used by the Clintons to fund their lifestyle was given directly for influencing Hillary’s decision on Uranium One...is that $100+MM a legal payment? If not, only HondoFS would argue that it somehow isn’t “the act of concealing the transformation of profits from illegal activities and corruption into ostensibly "legitimate" assets”

    HondoFS...

You really need to familiarize yourself with the content of an audit opinion letter.

Read it again. Very.carefully. Especially the part on the effectiveness of internal controls.

Don’t make me go down this path.

Go there. What are you getting at?
Audits are not designed to detect fraud or provide opinions on internal control effectiveness. The purpose is to express an opinion on the financial statements which are the responsibility of management.

Just because there’s an audit opinion issued doesn’t mean hanky panky and illegal activities aren’t taking place. Lots of ways to circumvent controls - especially if there’s collusion between upper management.

You’d shit your pants at the things I’ve seen in my career - including several prison terms. Most went undiscovered for years.

Yes I know what an opinion means and I'm a CPA lol. So yes I know the shit that goes on and is undetected. I've seen $600k casino thefts. I was actually involved in this (although that had nothing to do with the audit).

    https://www.ocregister.com/2007/08/14/soboba-casino-heist-suspect-says-cocaine-made-him-do-it/

That being said, you missed the word material.... Before fraud. I've seen auditors found guilty or pay out in a claim for missing both immaterial and material fraud.

And yes most fraud goes on for years. And most is immaterial in each individual year and grows to become material.

That being said, if the Clinton's were actually laundering money through the foundation, it would be known. Never mind they fact the people that say that have zero idea what money laundering is. They should read some title 31 first.
That is fucking awesome. Robbing a casino to get money for blow. I am now in my planning phase.

    The Throbber is a CFA?

That would qualify The Throbber as one of the smartest guys on the Bored.

So the other thing we learned from this thread, is that HondoFS is such a successful CPA he needs to supplement his income by posting on this bored for the Clinton's.

Yeah that robbery was crazy. Just straight up walked out of the front door of the casino like in oceans 11. When you go do it, here's a little bit of advice. Put a little more planning into the escape than they did and wait until you get to South America to buy some blow. It's more pure down there anyway.
