Romar taking over U of A

Pretty much every coach is dirty, just some are mossterFS (Miller) while others let their assistants do the dirty work (Izzo, cal, K) to maintain plausible deniability.Tequilla said:

It was agent money. Fultz would have gotten it no matter where he went. I doubt Romar was completely naive, but I doubt Romar was personally involved like Miller was.MelloDawg said:Times like these I wish I wasn’t banned from Softy’s page.
Romar likely thinks he has (and maybe does have) a degree of plausible deniability here. That said, he’s not a moron. He knows that he’s not a good enough recruiter to get a kid from the east coast who was as good as Fultz to commit here. If he did think that, he’s dumber than we thought. He’d also be arrogant.
The idea that Romar had literally no idea about the payment when information is so readily available to not only kids but especially to coach’s is naive. That said, Romar supporters have a narrative to protect with Lorenzo, much like any fervent fan base does when they have a coach of deity like status. To suggest Romar knew something would tear down the only redeeming trait he had left.
Romar knows how big time college athletics work. He knows there had to be some special circumstances which got Fultz here and his purposeful ignorance makes him just as culpable
If you were in the industry (like Romar) you’d have known Miller was dirty - right?
Yet Romar goes and works directly for Miller?
That story doesn’t add up -
Or he knew Miller was dirty and the shit was about to hit the fan so he took a shot that he could be in line to take over.Tequilla said:

i know this is some bullshit $10.95/month type info but i may or may not have heard from a p12 AD who works for former mvc/current p12 (allegedly, ha!) school that byrne knew miller was dirty and gave zero fucks.
fwiw, it came after the fbi shit in september so he may have been blowin smoke.

Not sure what your point is butRomar had a pimp and a drug dealer on his teams. Why would he be above paying for players?Tequilla said:

Butnah, see their last "public op" that ya boy, the "very stable genius", tried to shut down is leading to indictments and convictions of conspiracy, corruption, money laundering, bribery, and espionage on a grand scale.Mosster47 said:

Who the fuck supervises these operations? Sports are big business, like retardedly huge business and $100k was the smoking gun?
Cam Newton made more than that and it was public knowledge. Everyone reported that Miss State and another school offered him $180k and Auburn won the sweepstakes by building his dad a new church.
What a garbage agency. This is college basketball so it doesn't matter. Of course Arizona is paying players. You ever been to Tucson? Super hero black kids are dying to go to Storrs, CT and Syracuse, NY too right? They are lining up to live on Tobacco Road.
Trump might be onto something.
I am not one to venerate the FBI but this idea that their pre-crime division should have arrested the Palmdale shooter is ridiculous. Should they lock up every yahoo in evry town that owns an AR and appears unstable?
On the one hand you complain about them wasting taxpayer resources and on the other you want them to magically prevent
So on the one hand you don't want the FBI to investigate actual crimes because its a waste of taxpayer resources.Mosster47 said:So the FBI bumbles a school shooter, but spends millions of dollars and wastes thousands of man hours to find $100k?

On the other hand you expect them to prevent mass shootings by what- assigning a 24/7 surveillance team to each one of the thousands of possible shooters they've gotten tips on in any given month?
Is it difficult being a walking contradiction? Do you ever get confused about whther you were supposed to be criticizing the government for doing too much or too little? Or about which two completely unrelated incidents you were going to tie together this time? -
This. I had a family member who had to transfer junior highs because some wacko live at home incel walked into the front of the school and threatened to come back in and shoot it up with his gun if parents continued to park on the street in front of his house to pick their kids up. Cops were called, said they couldn’t actually do anything other than “keep an eye on that address”. Because of ammosexuals (assuming mosster is one as well), authorities can’t really do shit until they basically catch the person in the act.FremontTroll said:

The lesson of the night is Romar's gonna Romar.

The lesson a week from now will be that Hop couldn't BONEM to take their place in the dance and needs to be fired.

I am dumb. Started an angry reply yo Mosster. Left it. Tried to come back later and make my point but Vanilla fucked me.

Oh and I was right. Emmert already caved on this and is letting all the FBI investigated schools choose their own punishment. -

Once again, you’re wrong. Emmett and the schools have zero say how the FBI will proceed. Schools and the people involved have no choice but to wait until the indictments come down, other than to suspend personnel as they are namedMosster47 said:

All i want out of life right now is for UW to beat Romar in the pac12 tourny because he refuses to foul while up by 3.

Please hire Romar as permanent Head Corch. Please?

To be fair, Romar has a track record of losing up 3 whether he would foul or not.Rapeculturedawg said:All i want out of life right now is for UW to beat Romar in the pac12 tourny because he refuses to foul while up by 3.

Bleenor once said there wasn’t enough time to practice inbound plays because so much practice time was committed to defense.UWhuskytskeet said:From an Arizona fan on Reddit:

I still don’t understand how or why Romar’s teams were so inept inbounding the ball. It’s not hard to spend 5-10 minutes on in bound plays everyday. -
Fleenor would also make stupid excuses for Lambo's shitty special teams. Sanctions, depth, practice time etcRoadDawg55 said:

Makes sense. I actually got a timeout from Kimmy because I called Fleenor a dumbass and asked him how Pitino could press and still have in bounds plays.RaceBannon said:

Going at Fleenor was an automatic time out. Kim even tried to create a higher discussion board for him. Is he even that big of booster?
