He looks pretty good and props for the highlight selection. I like how much you're able to see him working through traffic and dealing with blockers. He's good at picking the correct ball carrier path and brushing his blocker aside so he can meet the ball moving forward.

If you watch some film with Mason Foster at UW you really see that skill on display. He was amazing at manipulating blockers with head fakes, jab steps etc to get them off balance, then using his hands to control or move them while keeping his eye on the target.

He has an amazing ability to square up the ball carrier on almost every tackle it seems.
    Oh shit

I 'member the days when people weren't excited about Bruener.

I'm still not. I'll believe it when I see it with these ILBs. I'm only excited about Calvert and to some extent Ulo.

Same. I think Bruener looks decent and his bloodlines work in his favor, but I don’t really care about him and won’t until he does something for UW.

I do like diamonds in the rough better than 3 and low 4 stars that for some reason nobody really wants or makes a priority.

Why do you think all the TBS'ers were so excited to replace BBK with him?
Looked good in spots last year, I don’t understand what happened

Jimmy Lake said it too. I’m concerned about stuff like that, especially when you factor in the WR and ILB, and Cam Williams bullshit that happened this year.

Yes, the coaches are around these guys more than anyone but they can still play favorites and not really know their personnel. It definitely happened this year.
They can also say shit they don’t really believe to the media. Hopefully this was the latter.

the film looks good, that’s about all to get from it.

IMO WR and LB are the hardest to actually project how individual players will do at each jump; HS—CFB—NFL

It’s worrying the UW staff seems particularly bad at it though.

Why does anyone give a fuck what the coaches say they think when it comes to individuals? Theres a motive behind it every time, and no reason to assume any of it is true.

I like and agree with the rest of your point. They made some obvious personnel mistakes this year.

I thought eifler was being a little bitch, but I think he was rightfully concerned that Gregory was playing favorites and that is why he sold the couch. He would have been an upgrade for us
