My turn to be bipolar... and just pretend there are ?’s because I’m too tired and lazy.
How the fuck can we not recruit BUCKs? Is there some misconception, like with Thibodeaux, that you need to play in warm weather so the quarterback will be in more passing situations? It really makes no fucking sense. Speaking of Kayvon, what the fuck is he doing still entertaining a USC offer?
We will have a little drop off in DL play before it gets back to being phenomenal with lots of talent and depth, the DB room is stacked and getting stronger, so not only will a pass rusher have more time to get coverage sacks, but they will also have clear lanes with our monster DL up front eating up blockers. What more could a BUCK want? Fucking coffee cups and a better barber shop?? Figure it the fuck out! When you have a stupidly productive collegiate career and your draft stock dictates a big paycheck, you will make a shit ton more money than if you accept that $30k now to go get raked over at FSU.
It’s just fucking ridiculous that we can’t sell pass rushers on this program yet we can sell almost any other important positional group, including the second most fast strat in DB’s! Fuck, Coach K, pull it together man! And Peterman, he clearly isn’t the guy, so why the fuck did you bring in Harris for DB’s when we need OLB help!
Otherwise, I love this class so far.
I don't understand the accusations of being bi-polar TBH...
Just because we are likely to get great players everywhere but WR, TE and BUCK doesn't mean that those positions are great as well.
Only Doogs think that because we have a great DL committed that some other position doesn't matter.
We didn't sign any BUCKs last year. None. If we strike out again this year, that is going to seriously fuck us. We fucked the pooch and didn't recruit DJ Johnson and because we can't fucking sign anyone at BUCK (the cycle is always: offer, excitement, dull period where they want to go elsewhere, a pick up in attractiveness of UW, then ultimate disappointment).
I'm not a huge Trice fan, but I would kill for him because we can't get anyone.
As I said this summer, we should offer Orin Patu. He's not my absolute favorite either, but we'd have a realistic shot at him. I feel the same about Dylan Hall.
Hell, at this point start finding those basketball recruits that aren’t good enough for a D1 offer but have the frame to play BUCK and hope they can contribute as RS soph, they can’t just leave the depth chart empty.
In the spring I said 'offer Patu and Hall now'... hopefully we can flip Patu (his younger brother Ari is a big time 2021 kid who will probably play WR or DB), late... but Saul Patu (his dad) played with Justin Wilcox at Oregon. We shall see.
Dude, patu looks like Sam, still don’t solve the buck issues

Hall would be a BUCK, Patu a SAM. Feel better now?
OL & DL recruiting has been insanely good the last two classes... even ILB (assuming Hemuili signs) has picked up the last couple years. We're? leveling up just about everywhere else, but the ongoing bedshitting at BUCK is fucking maddening.
Our? defense with a really good edge rusher getting after the QB on third down would be fucking unstoppable. Now we're in danger of getting nothing at this position for the second straight year. Pete's gotta make some kind of adjustment, because whatever the fuck Kwat's doing is not working.
Zion was the Buck in last class. Tuputala is likely an outside guys as well in this class. Give them a chance to get their guy(s) at Buck before you panic.
Zion is too big and slow. He's going to play inside.
Tuputala could be a good call. His size and quickness are exactly what UW is lacking at inside LB though.
Bottom line is we need to recruit more fast guys that can play at or above 230lbs.
He's not slow. He moves well. How is 6'2 250 too big? The point is he was recruited to play Buck/SAM. Will he outgrow the position? Nobody knows but you said they didn't get anybody at Buck last class and that's false.
If no ody from the class plays buck then they didn't get anybody at buck. You're not actually that stupid are you? It doesn't matter what you say he was recruited for, bitch.

Kahlil Mack was a 2 Star so there’s always hope for us
Yup, sounds like sound recruiting strategy to hope to land a generational talent that is under recruited
That’s what I’m banking on this point. It’s more than obvious that these guys are not only the most rare talent across the country but also the most sought after. Every single NFL draft over values pass rushers just as much as they do QB’s because they’re that important. All I know is whatever we’re doing it’s not working. I remember seeing that photo of Pete behind their big board and they had a ton of names under “DE (aka Buck).” I think they’re punting this year and going full blitzkreig into 2020. Will that yield results? Can’t say the track record is giving me much hope...
The three-star weakside defensive end from Phoenix (Ariz.) Sandra Day O'Connor is scheduled to announce his college commitment Saturday after wrapping up official visits to Notre Dame, Oregon and Washington, in that order, last month.
The Huskies got the final look last weekend and several recruits that were on hand for Washington's victory against BYU told 247Sports they got a good vibe from Trice, who has generally kept things close to the vest throughout the process.
The Fighting Irish have been considered a big favorite since his trip to South Bend for the weekend of the Michigan game to kick off the season, but a source close to Trice's recruitment told 247Sports this week that Washington is definitely in the mix after his successful stop in Seattle and the Huskies have been surging lately. There has been no indication on either side that the battle is done or a call has been made.
All 10 votes in the Crystal Ball are currently in favor of Notre Dame, but this one is too close to call and could go either way.
"The big thing is Washington was the first one to offer him, the first one to come in and take a close look at him when no one else knew about him prior to his junior season," the source said. "That's important."
Still, it remains to be seen if Washington's pitch was enough to overcome the substantial lead Notre Dame built in recent weeks. Assistant coaches Mike Elston and DelVaughn Alexander have been running point and the big appeal, according to the source, is that the Irish offer the best of both worlds when it comes to football and academics.
"Notre Dame is Notre Dame; the name speaks for itself," the source said.

So what you're saying is that Petersen better call Saul (Patu)
The last time I saw Saul he was playing fullback for the Arizona Rattlers.
That Townsend guy is Colt Lyerla's coke dealer. I am almost certain of that.
Colt is a heroin dude now. That shit is really good for forgetting that he fucked up, despite being born in a body designed by some test tube scientists who were trying to create a race of superhumans. They wasted all their energy on fast twitch muscles and totally forgot to put a brain in that in that sphere that rests on top of his shoulders.

They have the kid from Federal Way (he's playing outside) and they will get Trice or Latu. Not great, but better than past years. Luckily Ngata is young too. Next year is Smalls or else.

Claims he wants to be an orthopedic surgeon and ND doesn't have it's own medical school, while UW has.... well you know.
Trice never hesitates to talk to or text her. Wonders how all the CBs are coming in when no one has talked to Trice since his visit, except for her.
Left herself an out:
"As I always say, no one really knows until that decision is announced."
