And with the economy taking off again the illegal immigration is going to ramp up again

If you’d just keep your mouth shut about the new jobs, wage/benefit increases and bonuses they won’t want to come here.

    Maga?

If Democrats accept Trump's DACA deal they alienate their far left base by caving on the wall. If they reject the deal, they alienate everyone else by being AmericaLast. By sweetening a deal Democrat leadership cannot accept, Trump completely marginalizes them for 11/2018. Get it?
At what point do our politicians make decisions on what's in the best interest of our country rather than their pocket book? Sounds like you prefer the latter.
How are illegals good for the country? We know they are good for votes for the democrats and cheap labor for the Chamber of Commerce GOP

Sounds like you got it backwards

    Again
Please to be telling me how a border wall will suddenly reduce illegal immigrants. You act like there's currently no control over the border.

    Pssst.

There's no control over the border.

    Wut?

But since a tipping point in 2012, the net flow of migration from Mexico, both legal and not, has actually decreased. From 2009 to 2014, Pew estimates that 1 million Mexicans and their families (including U.S.-born children) left the U.S., while 870,000 Mexicans arrived.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2017/01/27/even-before-trump-more-mexicans-were-leaving-the-us-than-arriving/?utm_term=.b694f4d8f2a4

    Thanks for proving my point.

870,000 walked (maybe swam, maybe tunneled, who fuck the cares) in and 1 M walked out.

That's 1,870,000 trips across the fucking uncontrolled border.

Christ man. I already know you hate maff.

According to the report, in 2014, 42 percent of all undocumented persons in the U.S. were “overstays.”

Of those who arrived or joined the undocumented population in 2014, 66 percent were overstays.

Let's just call it 11 Million illegals in the US.

    34% of 11 Million is still 3,740,000.

That means instead of 1,870,000 trips back and forth as above....we're up to 3,740,000 trips across. That's roughly every man, woman and child in the greater Seattle metroplex waltzing across the Rio Grande and such.

    Maff hater.

Fine - cut it in half. That still means there were damned near a MILLION fuck ups on your 'controlled border'.

You'd be more convincing saying it's all those pesky Canadians packing weed in from the north.

I believe that the deal on the table is amnesty for DACA kids which I always supported in return for everything else I want. I don't think that is 1.8 million. Chain lightning immigration is not part of the deal

We were never as simple minded as you thought bro. Sorry to disappoint

This is a win for America. The democrats own base don't like the open borders policy. Helps Trump IMO

A border is worthless and meaningless if it can't be enforced and policed. Everyone knows this. Everyone.

Nobody really cares if it's enforced by patrolling officers, drones, landmines or alligators. Most people want it respected, by whatever means necessary, R or D.

The Wall may be dumb, expensive and symbolic, but who really gives a fuck? Only the anarchists who want open borders, no governments, no countries, etc. are dumb enough to give a fuck that we might have a thick wall instead of the Tortilla curtain separating Tiajuana from San Diego. The "it won't work" people miss the point entirely. The IRS doesn't catch every tax cheater. They only need to catch 1 in a million, nail the fucker to a cross, and the other 999,999 toe the line.

We got some real small-minded mother-fuckers on these boards.

Oh, yeah. That's part of the fun.

The statistics suggest net migration from Mexico since then is negative.
    Bullshit!
