"You can't win without Romar, you just can't." Jim Basnight #dumbfuckbananasnblondes said:The thing that blows me away is that last year UW was 11th or 12th in the pac in nearly every defensive stat. This year they are the #1 overall defense in the league with the same guys and some freshmen.
That's fucking impressive -
Only showed up to see if 206 had killed himself yet. Leaving disappointed.

A Syracuse fan here, back to say hi. It's good to see Washington playing pretty well and hope they can get to 21 wins or so. I'd love to see Hopkins and the UW kids get to the NCAA's. They've played hard and are making good things happen. Congratulations on the win over Washington State...you're getting good press. Seems like you have a lot of winnable and/or competitive games to finish the season, though your next two games will be tough...but at home. Best Wishes...

I also heard from an SU fan that lives in Seattle that the crowd for WSU was loud and full of energy. I hope that continues to build. You guys can make a difference...

Why do I get the feeling that the main reason Syracuse fans are watching Hopkins at Washington, is because they are hoping to lure him back in a couple of years when there is a HC opening there?Shenexon said:I also heard from an SU fan that lives in Seattle that the crowd for WSU was loud and full of energy. Read their forums and take their word at face value, if you do that they seem to be genuinely fond of him both as a former player and long time loyal assistant.uzi said:

There are a lot of reasons to watch Washington right now. You guys are playing well, Syracuse fans like good basketball, and a lot of SU fans love Hopkins. You can see why. I for one am loving that he's finding some success in his first season. Boeheim will be at Syracuse at least 4 more years and maybe 5. His son will be at Syracuse starting next fall and he won't leave until his son graduates. I can't say I wouldn't want to see Hopkins back at Syracuse some day but think it's unlikely. Either way, I'm happy for him. He's one of the good guys...uzi said:
