I see it as a loose alliance between the NE and the West coast. We all agree to turn Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, New Mexico and Nevada into national parks and recreation areas that only we? can use. We invite Colorado as an adjunct member.

And everyone else starves, kills each other and dies of the flu.

Sacramento is doing really well these days. I always look forward to visiting; redeveloped J Street, the mall anchored with the new Kings’ Arena, and midtown is booming. I lived there from 91-96 after USC grad school doing financial consulting (the State was a big client). You and I would agree it was a dump back then. Regardless, Rafting the American River in the summer has always been great. I always stop at Zelda’s pizza.

Anyways, Sacramento, of all places, does not want to split up California. Move to Susanville and you may feel better.
