Yeah, you right. What was I thinking? 10th out of 130 teams with a first year DC who has never called plays, while rotating in walk-ons and missing your 2nd string DT, MIK, and WIL is totally shitty.Bread said:
You say this like 10th best is good? We should have been top 5 this year even with the depth issues. Real disappointing seasonDoogCourics said:

But Lake currently has UW as the 10th best scoring defense and 16th best total defense. And it’s his first season calling plays. And he has walk-ons rotating in the front 6 routinely because of constant injuries to Bowman, Wellington, and Beavers.
So yeah, Ikaika could be much worse than Jimmy.
Recruiting prowess is another story though.
Man, I'm fucktarded for thinking that keeping a defensive scoring average in the top 10 of college football would compare to the scoring averages of the previous few years when one of the top 5 DC's in the country was in charge of it all.
Kwat:
2014 - 24.8
2015 - 18.8
2016 - 17.7
2017 - 16.1
Lake:
2018 - 16.6
Lake's defense is still 9th in the S&P+, which Kwat averaged around 7th his last 3 years as DC.
10th best definitely isn't good, and definitely doesn't live up to the standards that Kwat set.

So, ASU then.HuskyClaws said:

We are completely fucked.HuskyClaws said:SE calling his shot and saying that Wright will choose UW tomorrow.

Could be a positive. He may have been all set to commit to ASU but is now reconsidering after the UW visit.

Whats his Twatter say?

I need ballzdeep to tell me what to think on this new development. How should I feel?

Things change all the time. If you can't handle the ups and downs of recruiting, you should find a new hobby.
He was ready to commit to ___; then he wasn't.
ooops, had to edit to include...
$10.95 please. -
Barber called it off...

I'm new. Cant tell if you guys know what your talking about or If you just yell your random opinions at eachother. Entertaining either way

Well, this is the only place that had Buelow and Tuitele committed for months before they announced.Canadawg said:I'm new. Cant tell if you guys know what your talking about or If you just yell your random opinions at eachother. Entertaining either way
So I’d guess we know what we’re talking about. -
Biggins just dropped that he is hearing the visit to UW was "eye opening for him and his family" so he decided to take a step back and wants to re-evaluate his options.
Goes on to say that he's "been a silent commit to ASU for about a month" and that this is obviously big for UW.

Now Herm just has to lock it up in the home visit

When is the last time asu won anything meaningful? UW has had some down years over the past decade, but we also have a conference championship and two major bowl appearances.
And there is simply no comparison vis-a-vis academics.
kids... -
You realize that they are dumb motherfuckers who just want to bro out with the assistant coach right?Passion said:When is the last time asu won anything meaningful? UW has had some down years over the past decade, but we also have a conference championship and two major bowl appearances.

On the pod last night I said he will go to ASU. Not anymore.Domicillo said:
The reason I was pessimistic is because he announced his commitment date before even officially visiting UW AND he made a second visit to ASU just last weekend. That is a massive indicator for ASU because, IT MEANS HE HAD ALREADY MADE UP HIS MIND.
And that is supported by the fact that he is only now pushing back the date. He was all set, and likely already committed to ASU, but now will go back on that.
This is massive. -
Just so ya bitches now Ikaika never sleeps

Nothing changes for me. I'm 100% all in on him being a Dawg. @Pitchfork51 Wanna make a bet?
-
Biggins also says that he's still hearing it's ASU "to this point" and that going into his UW OV, he knew ASU had a sizeable lead so how much that's changed is the current mystery....but I think it's safe to say that since he scrapped his commitment tomorrow that it may not be as sizeable as he thinks (thought?)
-
Sounds like it's possible that he called Franny and let her know nothings changed with himGaryFromTeenMom said:Biggins also says that he's still hearing it's ASU "to this point" and that going into his UW OV, he knew ASU had a sizeable lead so how much that's changed is the current mystery....but I think it's safe to say that since he scrapped his commitment tomorrow that it may not be as sizeable as he thinks (thought?)

This is big, yes.
But ASU still must have the inside track if he was ready to commit there. Right?
Fuck what do I know? Not much. But fuck, c’mon, kid! We gotta keep up the HH twatting effort.

My opinion still holds
Wright has always wanted UW ...
UW was in on bigger targets and didn’t know if they would have room and slow played him a bit by asking him to be patient
Wright got the message and focused on Plan B (ASU) ...
Wright visited UW to tell them he’s going to ASU unless UW had room ...
My guess is UW told him we are looking likely to have room
