Old Forester Single Barrel. Not bad. Little meh on the front end for the price point but the finish is complex and long lasting. Lots going on here. 81 points on the YellowSnow scale.
Came home and had some of the Trader Joe's single malt Scotch. I had never had it before, but it's quite good.
I'm finishing up with some rye whiskey from High West Distillery.

Free Pub. High West is my home town chit. Although not sure if they are aging product in Utah yet. Most high end eyes are still distilled in Indiana at MGD.

I was in Salt Lake City last January and my friend, who lived at Park City back then, picked me up and drove me up to his neck of the woods. We went to the distillery for some food and I got a flight. I really liked their Rendezvous Rye and American Prairie Bourbon. I bought a bottle of each. The Rendezvous Rye was fucking expensive, but so worth it.
I've been buying High West stuff at Total Wine, but I noticed last week that my local QFC now carries it.
2 Rainiers after breakfast. 2 Hamm's (the beer refreshing) on the hike up the ridge, Costco Rum on the way down. Currently mixing the Costco Rum with Messican Coke. Plentiful, cheap, and just good enough. Mantra of my life.
