Kim Grinolds: there he goes again

He's telling his readers today that Dawgman, and not the so-called NegaDawgs, was ahead of the curve to warn people about Willingham. Maybe he would like to explain how in a January 2008 column Dick Baird wrote: "Tyrone Willingham is one of the most respected men in the coaching profession." And how Scott Eklund told readers on the message boards in December 2008 after Willingham got fired, "You guys have no idea the damage Willingham did to the program." (What stopped you from reporting it?)

It was impossible for them to be ahead of us on this one.
RIP WeWereAFootballSchool. -
exactly. December 2004.

Maybe if Kim and the rest of the Citrus Fiesta crew took some time to unlock their lips from Woodward's 2 inches of thunder and unbuckle their knee pads, they might be able to readily admit the most they ever did was post cryptic bullshit and write a column calling for Ty's removal AFTER he was already fired.

Tyster the Dud was a for more obvious bad hire than Sark. (Steve didn't have a resume so by default he was a better hire.)
Resume: Lost in the Rose Bowl, in a year when U$C, Wa and UCLA were down. Going to the dance was no big deal. Getting fired at ND after year three. What else? That's about it.
I got tons of crap in the summer of 2008 on Dawgboy when I predicted a three win team in a post called, Huskies, DOA. Yeah. The boys on the staff are always ahead of the curve.

That whole site is nothing more than a pay per use mouthpiece for the athletic department. They talk a good game about "being beaten up out here" for voicing concerns about Tyrone yet no one remembers it that way but Kim and Fetters.
Can't wait until Sark's gone and suddenly Kim will have been "voicing strong concerns" about Sark way back in 2012. Rinse, wash, repeat -

I got into with fatters when he wouldn't admit Gilby sucked and needed to go. This was about 2 weeks before he was canned/resigned.

There are two things of which I am "guilty"... I predicted that Woodward wouldn't get the stadium built, and I publicly supported Gilby back in '03 and thought he could succeed as head coach.MikeDamone said:I got into with fatters when he wouldn't admit Gilby sucked and needed to go. But for Dawgman to claim that they were ahead of Race, Sven, myself and any other assortment of HHB or Negas about Tyrone is so beyond the pale that it ventures into egomaniacal insanity.
And yes, SQC, it sticks in my craw.
