Since you will be reliant on FEMA I fully expect you'll be dead soon. It was great knowing you man. But nothing special.
Pretty sure I outgun my neighbors, so we won't be starving anytime soon, and we can drink collected rainwater.
If that part of the San Andreas actually goes, it'll be a nice seismic test for all the schools along the 101 corridor that the wife has had a hand in building over the last 15 years.
Which neighbors have the best food stockpiled?
The Mormons
They probably have the most women as well. I'd head to the nearest Mormon enclave and run over all the dudes as soon as you show up. 50 chicks and endless food to wait out the end of times with.

Good to know you have guns. Glad you are a self-reliant Californian. You will survive. Lots of people hate guns until society breaks down. Then they wish they had some.
iDawg and I got off on a tangent on a podcast and we were talking about people who are hoarding gold for the last days. As I pointed out you can't eat gold and the guy with guns is going to take it from you anyway
You know the 5 B's of survival...bunkers, bullets, beans, bullion and bandaids (first aid in general). If I had to rank them, in order of importance and ease of acquiring before the next EMP/Pandemic/Zombie Apoc:
1) Bullets (all the time every time - just wait until people are starving to see how they will act) 2) Beans (food is good, and important too) 3) Bandaids (fish antiobiotics are dirt cheap, don't require a scrip, and work just like the shit you pay quadruple for at Walgreens) (500 counts are like 30 bucks at pet stores online) 4) Bunker (Would be ranked higher but I'm too poor to afford a legit bunker) 5) Bullion (never really bought the hype that gold will again be the major traded currency - I actually think 1-3 on the list above would be the primary currency in a barter system).
No, I'm not some lunatic prepper with a basement with 20 years of food. That said, I do have "some" food storage, plenty of survival/camping equipment, and lots of guns and ammo. No gold or silver because I'm a poor. It's just a good idea to keep basic supplies on hand. If the Chinese ever took out the East Coast power grid via cyber attack, shit would be pretty primal within 12 weeks. People revert quickly to base survival instincts when they are hungry.
Also, keeping an old manual car (pre-1990) or Jeep around is a good idea. If the sun ever shoots out a hot flare and fries all electronics, no car built from the 90's on is going to go anywhere. Keep an old carbureted beater in the garage and you can go anywhere you need to.
That concludes today's preparedness with Swaye briefing.

Well, that and, you know, anal.
