Not really. The race for the #1 seed in the NFC is huge this year. No one wants to have to go through Seattle to get to the Super Bowl. 49ers are on a tear and it will be neck and neck until the finish.

I'm a fan of the NBA, but the early season games are meaningless. I watch games as I come across them, but most NBA teams are on auto pilot until the playoffs because the season is so long and draining.

NBA regular season is nice to have on after getting home from work and having a #freshbowl. Nothing amazing but it is better than most evening television. Sportcenter recap of a long NBA day is always fun to watch though because teams play 0 defense in the regular season.

Wont be settled til January.
It will if Seattle wins at Frisco. I like to call it Frisco.
the NBA is a disaster but I have to get some kind of entertainment after football season, so I too have a fantasy basketball team. Husky basketball being a disaster doesn't help

Seattle isn't winning in Frisco. Just like the NBA, the season only counts at the end. Fuck didn't a 9-7 team win the Super Bowl?
I have had a team since 20031994. As a BlazerDuck fan, fantasy basketballPhil Knight's money is the only thing that keeps me watching the sport
Corrections made.
I'm confused. Is that supposed to be a bad thing? I think most of the people here are on the fringe of quitting Husky football, and would enthusiastically hop into a citrus fiesta with Phil if it brought him on as donor/majority owner of Husky football.
The season does matter as Seattle wins the #1 seed it's over in the NFC. They aren't losing a home game in the playoffs with that crowd.
Also Seattle sports for the first time in a decade finally has a good team worth watching. I haven't been this involved in the NFL in forever.
It does make me sad because I remember being glued to UW coverage, then watching Oregon/USC hoping they would lose to help UW in the standings. Fun times. Now I don't give a fuck.
With the NFL I'm doing the same with Seahawks/49ers/Saints.
