While Prog Rock of the 70's isn't as much in my wheelhouse as the roots, folk, and country based rock of that era, I've gotta say the @Dennis_DeYoung couldn't hold at @Keith_Emerson 's jock strap on the keys. Ooh what Lucky Men you guys are to have him on the pod.

Excellent interview. "The truth is malleable" in describing why the law is the perfect profession for the interviewer's daughter is the best quote. Dennis is spot on here bashing the millennial and their art should be free attitude.
Pleased to see DeYoung citing Emerson and Jimmy Smith as his prime keyboard influences. Can't top Jimmy Smith for funky soul/jazz playing.
Holy fuck you guys weren’t lying about Dom Hampton. Dude looks elite. If Jimmy Lake leaves is this kid gone too? I saw an article where he said he wasn’t planning on signing til Feb.

I just finished the pod and holy shit @spirithorse was some big fucking medicine. I could feel the urge to get on a pony and ride out to the land of the Shoshones and count coup (not genocide) against fat ass high school football coaches.

All that being said, Jake Browning sucks.
Rick Wakeman was the king and 70's Yes were the prog champs. Close to the Edge on acid is something every high schooler should try
