F3 gets absolutely owned on OL recruiting
If you have access check out page 3 of the thread about Layth Friekh committing to UA. Fatters tries to shut somebody down by listing off all the o line commits Sark has gotten. Another poster proceeds to list off where each of them ranked compared to the others we offered. In most cases we got the worst ones we offered

Bottom line, it doesn't matter what they know or don't know, whenever anybody posts about Sark's struggles in recruiting offensive linemen, the doogman.com insiders attack, usually not to discuss or debate, but to demand a link. The OL is a glaring and obvious weakness in Sark's program that the doog subscribers don't want to see discussed on the message boards they subscribe to. The art and hard work that's necessary to not only recruit good prospects for the OL, but to also develop a depth of 18 to 20 solid athletes spread over all class levels and capable of playing the position is just too complex for the doogs whose subscriptions keep doogman.com's business going.
UW is beating out MWC, WAC and Big Sky plus the Cougs for most of these OL's.
The 4 star's they have brought in 2010 have been busts. Porter was hurt that is a bad break. Kohler was a bust before his injuries and Hatchie has always been fucking worthless.
Ty signed 25 OL with relatively balanced classes of 5,2,6,5, and 6
Sark signed 18 OL with unbalanced classes of 1,7,2,5, and 3
Sark has signed 18 from 2009-2013 (which is below the average of 19.5 but is the median for the pac12). However, only Colorado and WSU signed recruiting classes with a lower average ranking per player. The only two schools who signed fewer players than UW during that time were USC and Stanford, both of whom signed significantly "better" players to compensate.
OL recruiting during the Sark tenure has been pathetic, it is 8th in the pac12, near the bottom of the pac12 in both quantity and quality.
OL recruiting is a numbers game, if you can get great recruits you need less quantity, if you cant get great recruits you grab a bunch in the hopes that a few will turn out great all while maintaining depth so you dont have to play underclassmen until after you have developed them like a decent coach would.
Usually they make a stupid comment, get called on it, start being an asshole to you, you stand your ground and then you get a timeout/banned.
