Good fucking riddance. I hated him from the moment he got his stupid ass suspended for the smoking weed before the natty game. He's an irresponsible fuckup, Oregon doesn't need him.

He's a 20 year old black dude.
Smoking weed and fucking up is basically the move.

Yeah that's fine, but is it too much to ask to not smoke before the championship game?

Oregon and Taggert will be top 5 in 2 years. And will be there to stay. He'll have top 5 recruiting classes every year. Watch how he closed in florida last year. He's the #4 class right now.
He's in top 5 of a lot of national studs already. Helfrich set them back big league. Taggert is a fucking recruiting animal, especially with Knight's-oregon's resources. Our OKG's wont have a prayer when Taggert gets the ball rolling . Oregon is back.
You fucks like to save Pups posts? Save this! Oregon will win North, and Pac ('18) Herbert is best duck QB in years imho. Yes a better passer than MM. (Not as fast as MM or a better runner, but a better pure passing QB) damn he's got a quick strong release...sees the field really well. Dude will be all pac12 as a jr
Edit: thats if Gadd gets hurt of course or Pete's 6-5 240lb NFL stud Haener doesnt pan out due to grades or something.

Also, Carrington is (was?) the best player on your shitty team.

Charles asked me to back when he first got going, but I just couldn't do it.
I said something to the effect of what he is doing is unique and fits a niche market of uber nerds that never played but are super fans. I couldn't get into describing a trap play with 500 words. It's one guard pulling across to cover the other guard going up to the backer, not a Tale of Two Cities.
If you know nothing about the actual game like 90% of this board and every other board anywhere he is very educational.

As shitty as Sling was he really did leave the cupboard stocked for the next guy. Our? offensive line going forward will be the best we have had for three more years.
Fans are FS. They saw the defense last year who had primarily been a 30 front for the previous seven years switch to a 40 front, so by default you are going to struggle with a roster full of forced "tweeners." Then of course it was just assumed they are sucked as players, but rule one of bad coaching is asking players to do something you know they can't.
Next Brady Hoke was the worst D-1 defensive coordinator I've ever seen in my life. He wasn't pushing some ridiculous new concept, it was a basic 4-3 and after 11 weeks the kids still didn't know where to go or what techniques to use. Those days are over. Jim Leavett is a lot of things, but football stupid isn't one of them.
This year will be about culture and playing the guys who do the right thing over who has the most talent. I think the Ducks land somewhere between 7 and 9 wins. Next year and beyond is when the ass poundings start again. Phil is almost dead and infinitely wealthy. If a head coach, coordinator, or position coach is making an extreme impact they will be paid to stay.
Can Taggart coach? He is calling the offense at Oregon. That's the easiest job in the show. I do know he doesn't put up with anything and he acts like a Harbaugh, which means no pussies allowed. After that it's how well is his defense coached? Pedigree says the Snyder/Stoops/Harbaugh disciple will do a good job. I'm huge on special teams and it look like they are serious about those cutting that shit punter we had and replacing him with Stack. Schneider was inherited, but will win a Groza before he leaves.
Discipline, toughness, and bringing in the best talent possible in the Pac-12 lands you in the top 3 by default. That's why UW will be good along side Oregon for awhile going forward.

Why don't you and tequilla get a room and blow it up with plastic explosives and die a fiery death?

I've flipped a lot of shit Smith's way, but he called a nice game here.
Though it probably helped that Oregon's defense sucked donkey balls.
