Celebrate his life and his achievements... we were lucky to watch his career... if you believe in after life he is in a better place..his legacy will live on. He lived a full life and impacted others into his 80's....t's and p's for those closest to him.

My favorite UW/Don James memory is 92 Rose Bowl win for the natty. Went back to basic training the next morning and didn't learn that UW won the natty for a couple days.

I don't belief in afterlife and I still think he's in a better place than living with pancreatic cancer.jecornel said:Celebrate his life and his achievements... we were lucky to watch his career... if you believe in after life he is in a better place..his legacy will live on. RIP Dawgfather.

At the risk of being insensitive, I submit he's in a better place than living with the past 2 decades of Husky football.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Ugh.
Don't tell me the demise of WASHINGTON as he made didn't make him want to die in a fucking fire, especially the years from Tytanic-present.

Don James was 4-2 vs. Michigan as the Husky coach.

Yea I read that 3-5 and I was confused. I knew he beat them in the Rose Bowl twice and won both regular season meetings.DerekJohnson said:Don James was 4-2 vs. Michigan as the Husky coach.

Mr James,
Thank you sir, for your service to Washington.
May you rest in peace wherever you are.
Someday, again, we hope to field a team worthy of you and your memory.
