Celebrate his life and his achievements... we were lucky to watch his career... if you believe in after life he is in a better place..his legacy will live on. He lived a full life and impacted others into his 80's....t's and p's for those closest to him.
My favorite UW/Don James memory is 92 Rose Bowl win for the natty. Went back to basic training the next morning and didn't learn that UW won the natty for a couple days.

I don't belief in afterlife and I still think he's in a better place than living with pancreatic cancer.

Ugh.
At the risk of being insensitive, I submit he's in a better place than living with the past 2 decades of Husky football.
Don't tell me the demise of WASHINGTON as he made didn't make him want to die in a fucking fire, especially the years from Tytanic-present.

It really is a shame that James didn't have a statue when he was living.
Prayers go out to Carol and family.

Thank you sir, for your service to Washington.
May you rest in peace wherever you are.
Someday, again, we hope to field a team worthy of you and your memory.
