Just got off a conjuring with my CEO buddy in Hell. He was All State Wrestler as well as football here in Walla Walla. Great guy.
So it looks like Turner isn't going to sign today. Notre Dame really came at him hard lately and made him think about some things. It's going to be a tight one so we'll see.
Reposting this here for posterity (put it in the Asa Update thread first).
Wiltfong:
I like Notre Dame's position for Top247 athlete Asa Turner more than ever after talking to a couple sources on Thursday with knowledge of the current Washington commit's recruitment.
A final decision is still expected during the Early Signing Period which ends on Friday. Turner chose the Huskies over the Irish back in July but continued his relationship with the ND staff. It may pay off. One source has always felt the Irish could flip this one and another that's always been pessimistic is much more optimistic.
If Notre Dame pulls this off, defensive coordinator Clark Lea will be a big reason as he and Turner have built a close relationship. Also hearing that there are some in Turner's circle that would like to see him in South Bend. On the flip side, Washington did a terrific job recruiting Turner. His bond with the staff is strong over there, and the opportunity to play safety is very intriguing for a program that is on the West Coast.
Nothing appears to be done as of Thursday afternoon one way or the other as the four-star Turner continues to work towards a final decision.
YOU DON'T FUCKING SAY!!!!! Just call it like it is. His coach wants him at Notre Dame and has been hammering it into him.
I keep refreshing this page for news. Really want Turner to be a Husky. But I’ve got things to do. The decisions of a teenager are hurting my productivity levels.
I just don't see how you say no to Notre Dame. It's like saying no to the Yankees, Celtics or Cowboys. You get the best of both worlds, academics and athletics at a world famous University and football program. Ass Turner would be a great addition to a an already great class.

Except the Yankees don’t get creamed in the big games.

Fluck off. Thanks for discounting 66 pages of aids to shoot your first bullet
