The term (Doog) hadn't been coined yet for some of these but you get the gist

For me it's pretty much a toss up between '92 and 2017. In' 92 I was still a young fan and didn't know shit about college football, but I had just moved to a new high school and was popping off big time to all my classmates who liked other teams (didn't live in WA then). 2017 is different in that it's the first season for us during the message board age where we should have justified high expectations.

If you were around as a UW fan in 1991 you dooged harder than ever in offseason 92.

    Simple fact.

    Disagree

1990 was such a heartbreak that we knew Stan and the boys would not fuck up 1991. After 1991 Stan was gone, Brunell was healthy and the odds of repeating were not good. From game 1 they were not the same dominant team

Offseason 2001 was prime dooging. Great recruiting class, things were looking up!

1991 was high for me but I had no idea if Hobert would be any good. I thought we'd never lose another game after 91.

2001 never felt IMHO at the time like we were truly back and going to sustain a high level of success. Yeah, we almost ran the table the year before, but we didn't dominate a lot of games like we had in other great seasons.

Nope but we kilt it in recruiting that offseason. RW, ET, Paus, the three alleged JuCo 5 stars, Donny Best Recruiting Photo Ever Mataeki. We were BACK in recruiting and that meant we were going to be BACK on the field. Or so young doogncarolina thought.

I was smoking a fresh bowl watching Billy Joe lead Puyallup to the state championship when @Swaye appeared to me in a vision and said Billy Joe would lead UW to the national championship.

When Brunell got hurt the final piece was in place. I always believed in BJ. Best QB ever
