What I liked most about the interview is that Pete sounded like he was really genuinely enjoying himself.
He talked about "OKG" being misinterpreted as choir boys which isn't the case. It is big time football players that want excel in other areas. They want guys with serious passion for the game and just love to play.
He has to weed through the guys that love being recruited and trying to figure out who truly will be committed to the work it takes and have a deep love for the game.
He mentioned how lucky he is to head over to Renton and learn from Pete and how he always had new take aways from him.
He said this is probably the hardest working group of kids their staff has coached and they reaped the rewards this year. Last year was super tough on the team as they put in so much work and they were sporadic as a team.
He rarely gets very personal and I think opened up in the interview much more than he has in the past.

I had some doubts about his unorthodox approach, but it clearly works. I also saw the team pray (as a team) before the AZ game during warm-ups. That was a little Tebowesque but whatever. Just win. You can worship Allah, Budda or Satan for all I care.
