Wondering were you all sit with the idea of teams getting into the playoff wirhout winning the conference. OSU is fucking good but you know what, they slipped up and decided to fuck a cow and lost to there molester school. To bad so sad fuck off. Win your conference and your in the running, if not wait till next year and watch the conference champion have a run at the natty.

I basically agree, with one caveat. OSU has a very good football team, they should be in a playoff, but not this one. With just four spots, conference championships should mean something. If UW, Bama, Clemson and Penn State win their conference championship games, that should be the field, especially given that PSU beat OSU in head to head competition. The fix is to expand to eight, take the five power five conference champs and let the committee decide who wins the beauty contest for the remaining three spots. OSU has a real pretty mouth, they'd get a spot for sure. Maybe Michigan gets one too, and maybe even USC. That would be a helluva field.
Conference gets you an auto bid to a New Year's Day bowl does it not? Asking for a fren.
Regardless of what happens this week bama and Ohio state deserve to be in. Penn state especially should be no where near the playoff.
Unfortunately, the BCS and CFP have rendered those bowls to also ran NOC status. They are nice consolation prizes now, nothing more.
A four team playoff is highly subjective. Ohio State has shown signs of vulnerability and lost to PSU on the field. Just my opinion, but they are less so deserving than PSU should PSU win the conference title. In an expanded field it would make sense to include OSU, and USC and probably Michigan.
Conference champs get a New Years 6 bowl game. Does Oklahoma deserve a spot over Ohio state if they win the conference and Clemson and Washington lose even though Ohio state beat the ever living shit out of them on their home field? Not all conference schedules are equal even within the own conference. With that logic we could have a playoff selection of Colorado, penn state, Oklahoma and Florida/va tech depending on what happens on Saturday. A playoff without Alabama and Ohio state regardless of what happens on Saturday is stupid.

Thanks fuck stick. Typing on a phone and drunk when I posted gives me some leeway.
Ohio State beat 3 teams currently in the top 10 (Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Michigan).
They lost one game by 3 to another top 10 team. They belong and are going.
HR, YK. And two of those were on the road.
Ohio State has 2 more top 10 wins than the entire Pac12.
SC beat UW AND Colorado. So does tOSU have four wins against top ten teams or did they change basic math?
You're right, I forgot SC beat Colorado.
Ohio State has one more top 10 win than the entire Pac12. And after Saturday, probably two more.
Penn State is beating Wisconsin knocking them out of the top 10 so it would even out.
OSU beat OU (dreck conference) and Michigan (at home, in OT by a minor miracle, against a one armed QB). Wisconsin would fall out of the top 10 and have 3 losses assuming PSU wins Sat.
Just don't see why everyone is jacking off over OSU.
