We're gonna get fucked over by the committee

Like we all said since the start of the season... 12-0 or we're out, no matter how much we "should" be in.

Pure fantasy.
UW is in with a win. -
No way the committee members that should support Pac-12 will get us in. Willingham and Haden would rather die than put us in.
-
There would be an uproar if Penn St and Ohio St got in. Pac12 was left out last year, no way they are going to leave out a 12-1 Pac-12 champion.
-
The more I think about it...
Nope. If the committee thought that Washington's easy schedule was a problem, then they would have had Wisconsin or Penn State ahead of them. They'll be top 4 this upcoming Tuesday and won't be dropped if they win against a top 20 team next week in the Pac 12 Championship Game. Two Big 10 teams over the PAC 12 champion is only possible if the PAC 12 south wins.
If Wisconsin wins, I see the committee flipping Ohio State off and leaving them out of the playoffs.
12-1 power five conference team in Washington with numerous ranked wins would not get left out.
-
if we do, it'll be because of sark and woodward.
Fuck them and their pussy OOC pad the win total scheduling -
worst case, if UW wins next week of course, is a rose bowl berth against Michigan. which isn't bad either
-
No, not bad (anybody would take that at the start of the season), but absolute bullshit.dhdawg said:worst case, if UW wins next week of course, is a rose bowl berth against Michigan. which isn't bad either

Our schedule next year is just as bad.dhdawg said:if we do, it'll be because of sark and woodward.

Pat Haden wants to see his work here rewarded with a national championship. He'll get us in. Believe in St. PatMeek said:No way the committee members that should support Pac-12 will get us in. Willingham and Haden would rather die than put us in.

Clemson is going to lose irregardless so you are poont is mute

It would be pretty devastating.dhdawg said:worst case, if UW wins next week of course, is a rose bowl berth against Michigan. which isn't bad either
It should be obvious to anyone that UW is a top 4 team. No team in the country has as balanced of a team as UW.
We can run, we can throw, we have playmakers, we stop the run, we have a great secondary, and we are well coached. No other team has an offense and defense on UW's level. Both are very good to elite.
Other than Arizona, we have destroyed every team we should have. We score 40+ and we hold them under 21. -
Clemson losing is the best possible thing that could happen to us. Then when they put in two Big 10 teams they can put us at 2 or 3 and we avoid Bama.JaWarrenJaHooker said:Clemson is going to lose irregardless so you are poont is mute

Not gonna lie, I'm nervous, but I still think we're in with a win. All the "committee wants to screw us" stuff is pure doogery.
-
If we play SC next week and win, there is no fucking way we(?) get left out. It is the next best thing to being undefeated when you avenge your only loss. Last I checked, we have only one team left that is still undefeated. We could be even ranked 2nd if we destroy SC next week.
If we play the Buffs, there is a small chance we get left out. But it would make the committee look like idiots (but we all know there are lots of idiots on that committee to start with) especially if we go on to win the Rose Bowl.
But first thing first, win next week's game! -
We are obviously beatable but we don't have a dreck offense like Ohio State and we haven't played down to the competition (or maybe aren't even good) like Clemson.RoadDawg55 said:

Absolutely no way a two loss Penn State
gets in over a 1 loss Washington. Committee
won't want the claims of illegitimacy. 4 teams
East of the Mississippi is a non starter. The
argument for the committee will be Penn State/ Wisconsin
or OSU. -
You lose a game, all bets are off. If UW hadn't have bent over and taken it up the ass against USC at home, this conversation wouldn't be happening.
-
Washington pretty much has every argument covered. Just because Ohio State made the playoff doesn't mean the Big winner automatically should.

Now, more than ever, LIFPO

Florida wins against Bama. Discuss.

A win against SC is enough. A win over Colorado probably requires some style points to be sure.halfbrainmanmolder said:If we play SC next week and win, there is no fucking way we(?) get left out. I think they will. Maybe even today. South Carolina has a good true freshman QB and Muschamp almost always has a good defense. Rivalry game, Clemson all year. 25% chance of an upset.JaWarrenJaHooker said:Clemson is going to lose irregardless so you are poont is mute

Sorry, I was too focused on the good team in that scenario. Don't think the Gators can make up that much ground, though.dhdawg said:
Its all mute though because it won't happen. -
the true freshman looks like hot garbage thus farRoadDawg55 said:

Utah punt return touchdown. Fuck. Everything has gone the wrong way for us today.
