Why does j smith hate TEs?

Seriously, did any of you expect Darrell Daniels to be so under utilized this year? Sure Daniels dropped a pass a couple games ago, but that is hardly a reason to put him on ice the rest of the season. The guy is a mismatch waiting to be exploited.

Another reason I hate babushka.

You act like he is Jimmy Graham.

No, but he's still a mismatch on a strong safety or LB.

I'm not a Smith hater but the offense really has
to start throwing to the tight end. Better
teams will take away Pettis and Ross so there
better be an alternative. Our tight ends are every
bit as good as Oregon's and they don't have any
trouble getting them the ball. Film study time.

They used Perkins a shit load last year. I imagine that when Hunter Bryant gets here, we'll see the TE targets go up. It could be that Daniels isn't as good as we thought he'd be as a pass-catching TE

They only want to throw it to him when he is wide open because he cannot catch in traffic. Pretty simple. In the sc game the safeties played out wide outside of the hashes a lot on passing downs and he would have been good to attack the seems with. But that would require arm strength from the qb and some pass pro along with a te that can catch. That's a lot to ask.

This is very far down the list from:

    1. Why does JSmith hate Myles Gaskin?
    2. Why does JSmith hate winning football?
    3. Why does JSmith hate wearing Polish peasant scarves?
    4. Why does JSmith hate Lavon Coleman?
    5. Why does JSmith hate Jake Browning's completion percentage and public reputation?
    6. Why does JSmith hate fitting scheme to personnel?
    7. Why does JSmith hate running with lead blockers?
    8. Why does JSmith hate running?
    9. Why does JSmith hate winning game plans?

    Etc.

This is Smiffy's most critical fault, IMO. He has more than enough offensive weaponry to have beaten SC, or at least made a tight game of it, instead of throwing it away with desperate, late, under-thrown jump balls to his WRs on every stalled drive.

    God Damn him to hell.

Sounds like Peterman hasn't developed any good tight ends.

Lead blockers? What is this, 1995?

Stanford and Michigan both love lead blockers and the old "man ball" I-formation stuff and both of their offenses have AIDS.

The Husky offensive schemes are brilliant. The guy calling the plays and building the game plans is not.

Their offenses are fine. Their QB's are shit. Stanford had one of the best offenses in the country last year.

They had that despite the scheme, not because of it.

Running antiquated I-formation offense is a handicap. When teams are successful with it, it is because their players are good enough to overcome it.

Just my opinion, but I'm also right.
