And we needed OT to beat a 2-6 Arizona team. Not sure that's the argument you want to make.
A&M getting buttfucked by 19 points against Bama is what should disqualify them, regardless of where they finish the season. Unless the Aggies can win out and Bama somehow loses two games, they don't deserve to even sniff the playoffs.
And you needed a late punt return to beat what will be a 7-5 Utah team as well.

in the end it really doesn't matter. 13-0 and UW is in, 1 loss and they aren't. still as a millennial doog it's cool to see UW ranked so high and discussed natioanlly for the first time
This - we won't be left out if we're undefeated and it's hard to imagine a scenario we get in with a loss.

Utah would skullfuck WSU until it started pissing blood.
There's still a lot of football to be played ... we honestly don't know about a 1 loss Washington because there's a lot of moving parts to that ...
The biggest reason though to question a 1 loss Washington though is that one of its most likely opportunities for a loss is at the Cougs ... if we lose that game the reason we're disqualified is because we won't win the Conference ... not because we have a loss.
Why are you talking about a 1 loss Washington?
That's a fair point ... I don't think it's 100% set in stone that IF we lose but win the conference that we're out ...
But the simplest path is simply to win each week for the next 5 weeks

Also important to remember that the resume changes each week ...
We still have USC and Washington State on the schedule ... we'll almost assuredly get another high end game against either Colorado or Utah
Stanford is called a shit team at 5-3 (their offense is terrible) ... but their remaining schedule (Oregon St, Oregon, Cal, Rice) will almost assure that they will be 9-3 and probably in a spot where they get back into the Top 25 ...
USC has a good shot to finish 8-4 with their 4 losses versus neutral Alabama, at 3-loss Stanford, at 2-3 loss Utah, at Washington. Their resume will eventually look better.
UW's profile will only keep getting better and better as long as they win

Fucking great. No team has gone undefeated in conf. play since the PAC went to 12 teams. With the horrid OOC schedule Woody left us with for the next few years, we'll have to go undefeated every season to get into the playoff. Fucking awesome.

No but they are lucky they don't have to play Central for the 3rd best team in the state of Washington.

Don't forget Saragin ranks Pac12 N as the second best conference behind SEC west. And the south not far behind.
Pumpy and Bill have been talking about this shit for years. We've been mocked, ridiculed, called stupid etc. for it. Don't say we never warned you.
