No huddle O was too slow after that catch.

Of course it hit the ground. But Pac-12 refs cost us the game, everyone says so.
A loss is a fucking loss. There are THREE phases to the game and when you get dominated in one of them, you deserve to lose. Offense was fine, defense was alright against an average QB.
Think we're winning one of the next two? If you do, you might be a doog.
we beat asu and possibly beat oregon. fuck off. -
The video evidence shows the ball on the ground. What more do you want?RoadDawg55 said:
I think it hit the ground, but they didn't show us a good angle to show that it clearly hit the ground, which would be indisputable evidence. They didn't call an incomplete pass, they called a complete pass meaning it should have been hard to overturn.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
Ball on the ground = indisputable evidence.RoadDawg55 said:You can't tell from the replay, but it looked like it did. That said, unless they can show us the replay the refs used, it was a bullshit call. I thought it had to be UNDISPUTABLE evidence.

Play like they did today, and UW beats ASU in Tempe by three touchdowns.dhdawg said:
I don't think it's doogish to think we might win at ASU, I'm not gonna predict it but I think we may winMelloDawg said:Of course it hit the ground. But Pac-12 refs cost us the game, everyone says so.

Oregon looks like a machine but they haven't really played anyone inside the top 40... Tennessee might be the 7th or 8th best SEC team... and the SEC is overrated as usual. -
We're going to beat ASU, and I think we'll beat UCLA too. This team is good enough to win 10 games, and fuck Sark if we don't.
-
Boobs, its you and me against the world convincing people to see reality.

Ball hit the ground.

10 and 2 and it will be hard to be bitter. The goalpost movers can, but I will be happy with it.jmc84 said:We're going to beat ASU, and I think we'll beat UCLA too. This team is good enough to win 10 games, and fuck Sark if we don't.

What is pool boy think he is going to say?

But the call took way too fucking long. Which means by definition the evidence was not indisputable and the call should not have been overturned.
It is like they talked themselves into the call. -
I agree. I think it was incomplete and it was somewhat evident, but to call the angles we got conclusive is bullshit. The refs didn't want Stanford to get fucked over by an iffy call. That said, no excuse for the KR for TD by Montgomery and the pooch kick at the end of the 2nd. If doogs want to blame the refs, they need to look at their own fuck ups first. We had ample opportunity to win this game.IrishDawg22 said:But the call took way too fucking long. It takes longer when you have to reverse, because you have to figure out where to move the ball and what the clock should be.IrishDawg22 said:But the call took way too fucking long. Which means by definition the evidence was not indisputable and the call should not have been overturned.

"Taking too long" doesn't mean anything. Knowing the Pac-12 and ESPN, it might have taken them three minutes to load the video to be frame-by-frame and shit.
-
I am inebriated beyond the telling of it. This loss hurts. I hope no one blames any shred of this game on Keith. The guy is such a fucking warrior and did everything to bring him back. He is top 5 all time UW QB and anyone who says otherwise is fucking stupid.

It's hilarious to me that any of you drones is even attempting to claim that this blurry bullshit even begins to prove anything. Tell me, where is his right hand? Where is this ball relative to the ground? You don't have any of the screenshots you need.
-
Those of us who aren't poor terrorists can frame by frame this on our DVRs.TTJ said:It's hilarious to me that any of you drones is even attempting to claim that this blurry bullshit even begins to prove anything. From the side angle, the ball is between his two arms. From the angle behind Smith, the ball is clearly on the ground.
It's an incomplete pass.
Hope this helps.

Agreed, the right hand could very well be under the ball.TTJ said:It's hilarious to me that any of you drones is even attempting to claim that this blurry bullshit even begins to prove anything. Sven = pressing. Extraordinarily badly.
Serious friend, stop now. -
Where is his right hand though Boobie. It probably is incomplete, but CONCLUSIVE.... I haven't seen it yet. Don't forget, they called a complete pass.
-
disagree. You can't see the front half of the ball. It's not likely, but it's certainly possible there's a hand under there.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Protip: His right hand IS NOT under the ball. If it was, you wouldn't see the clear curvature of the football in that picture.RoadDawg55 said:Where is his right hand though Boobie. It probably is incomplete, but CONCLUSIVE.... I haven't seen it yet. Don't forget, they called a complete pass.
If you don't think this evidence is conclusive, you probably served on the OJ jury.
Maybe this evidence will convince you: -
Boobie, I appreciate the humor, but we have different interpretations of conclusive evidence.
-
Silly me. I think conclusive evidence of a ball on the ground is conclusive evidence of an incomplete pass.RoadDawg55 said:Boobie, I appreciate the humor, but we have different interpretations of conclusive evidence.

Ball hit the ground
Should we consider this another Kevin smith drop? Thought he had a pretty good chance at making the catch -
That doesn't matter. If you're using the ground to help you make the catch, it's an incomplete pass. If ANY part of the ball hits the ground in this scenario, it's an incomplete pass.dnc said:
