Sitting in a parking lot in the Orkin van eating some Chik-fil-a and wasting time until I can start the weekend. @dnc and his Old Man music offering for the day got me to thinking about all the concerts I went to as a young pup, and how fucking crazy I was for all things metal. So anyway, this is it fags. And if you disagree, you are wrong. I have been to more metal shows than anyone on this board and it isn't close. Songs starting in the early 70's, and going to mid 90's. I should also note I have seen all of these bands live (some many times) except Sabbath (but I did see Ozzy) and Rainbow (but I did see Dio). The 80's kicked ass.

Oh, and I left tons of great bands out that I love. I did say "brief" history of metal. Mastadon, AC/DC (more hard rock than metal), Judas Priest, Death, Opeth, Machine Head, Deep Purple, Rammstein, etc., etc., etc. I would have been on Youtube an hour finding all that shit and I am lazy.
