Goes to show how far we've fallen and this game is a very sobering reminder of that. I thought we came out and played hard, but in the end, our players looked like they stopped trusting in Clay's system. The below the belt stomp was the breaking point, and you just can't have that. We have to fight on and do what we can to mend the image of the program. Conference play hasn't started yet, and if we play like we did early on, we can still win the conference this year. Once we get our numbers back up from sanctions, and Clay gets his guys in there, we could get back to where Alabama is right now. Perennial title contenders like we are supposed to be. It's our rightful place, after all. If Clay doesn't work out, we can always back up the Brinks truck for a proven coach like Chip Kelly or Jim Harbaugh. And hey, at least we aren't a cash-strapped UC school right now. UCLA hasn't won the Rose Bowl in 30 years!
Side note: Technically, they should be thanking us for their success. If it weren't for USC coming over there in the 1970s and beating them with our African-American players, they would never have integrated and become what they are now.
Fight on! The season isn't over!
Are they going to "Fight On"? or "Fight the Fuck On"?
I'm old enough to remember when USC went into Auburn and laid a whooping on the Tigers in 2002 or 2003 that really set the tone for the entire Pete Carroll dynasty. SC ain't what it used to be.

That was 2004. I remember it well. Auburn was coming off an undefeated season and USC pitched the shutout.

52-6 at USC should never happen, I don't care who you're playing
