He's somewhere between Doog Legend and actual great football coach.

His teams are physical, dirty, and run the fucking ball. He can coach for me any day.

Totally agree with you @Gladstone and @RoadDawg55 . I don't get the Shaw hate in here. He's fucked up a few games along the way, but all in all, the guy has done a very good job. His winning percentage is .794 over five seasons. He deserves some credit.

Sounds like we could use a chart to show us where Shaw is on this scale. @Dardanus?

I'd move him another half inch or so to the right, but I lol'ed

The requirements were very clear - "somewhere between" doog legend and actual great football coach. I believe the chart meets the criteria.
Can you add a flatbed truck to the chart fill? Asking for a friend.
He just could resist, could he?

If you want a shot, it starts with David Shaw finally going to the NFL ...

Since that is unlikely, the odds we get Foster are similar

If Peterman can't beat that fucktard on the fielD and in recruiting, he sucks.
Ill take that Fucktard. Since he took over 5 years ago, his teams have gone 59-14, gone to three Rosebowls (won 2), finished in the top-10 three times, and won most, if not all, of the head-to-head recruiting battles with UW.

He doesn't make excuses. He wins.
How many times has he made the playoff?

Beating the #4 team from the B1G was cute though, I'll give you that.

FYI, they LOST to Northwestern. . . . . HTH

How about he's a very good coach who sometimes is a bad play caller. His bad play calling is still far superior to anything we have seen at UW the past 15 years. At least Shaw is "stubborn" with the run and isn't overjoyed when his passing game outshines the running game.
Don James mid 80's offensive teams left a lot to be desired: run 3 plays into the line and punt.

Per ESPN, Foster is planning to visit Notre Dame, Bama, and UW over the next couple months, commit to a school in November, then take his official visit to Stanford in January.

That's probably the final nail in the coffin

It actually said he'd cancel the Stanford official if he committed elsewhere. He was just on an unnofficial there last weekend.

But he's 99.99% to Stanford. He's even going to Notre Dame the weekend they play Stanford.

Fixed. Plenty Taylor Hindys out there.
