Shaw isn't Saban/Meyer elite, but he has kept on winning well after losing all of Harbaugh's players.
If it were that easy to walk in and win because of an old coach's success, why do the heirs of other great coaches fail so often? See: Helfrich, Lambright, Kiffen, Shannon, Muschamp, just to name a few. -

It's been five years since Harbaugh left. Shaw has won 11+ in four of those years and three Pac 12 titles. At least Shaw is smart enough to not deviate from the footprint and continues to use the winning formula unlike all the coaches Tommy named.Ice_Holmvik said:

Totally agree with you @Gladstone and @RoadDawg55 . I don't get the Shaw hate in here. He's fucked up a few games along the way, but all in all, the guy has done a very good job.
