Talent? Lambo had whities littered all over the defensive backfield because of sanctions. Gimmie a break billy. Lambo was hardly mediocre. Players went to war for that guy. '97 was picked number one by Street and Smith's and was in virtually everyone's top ten. They shit the bed big time. Yes, there were some injuries, but that team had big time NFL talent. There were two NFL QB's on that team. Shehee went to the NFL. Pathon played in the NFL for a while. Kreutz might be a borderline HOFer. I believe Benji Olson was on that team. It was a fucking travesty that that team didn't win ten games. Dumbo Lambo should have been canned after that year. Instead they let him go 6-6 the next year. I know you know him and he lets you pet his horses or whatever, but he should have stayed a coordinator, or maybe just an interim coach for '93. Fuck Gerberdung. -
