She reps Capital Hill and the CD. Lots of service workers she promised $15 per hour minimum wage to when rents are rising. That appeals to the 20 & 30 somethings waiting tables, changing oil & making coffee for the people who work upstairs and earn 100k plus. Also lots of people who are used to getting lots of free shit, and she's promising more by soaking "the rich" which includes pretty much anyone who can afford to live in Seattle, even those just scraping by.
