Until DJ boots Race and J this will always be just a very expensive whatsapp group chat to troll each other. Chest is betraying the vision of his podcast regardless of this site and its posters. Maybe he feels as though with Petersen, the problems have been solved and the proof is in SRS, but real success hasn't happened yet (though I think he will do good things). It's still a work in progress until Washington can do something like at least beat Oregon and win the Pac 12 North...win 10 games...something of significance beyond Alamo Bowls and borderline top 25 years with some vague promise of next year, it's wishing.
It said in the damn intro that they don't ride the athletic department's coattails (now that's been abruptly edited out...interesting....).
I'm not doing backflips over the status quo btw....but it goes much beyond two people....at the risk of sounding all preachy, with freedom comes responsibility. This site can be great if it wants to be. There's a higher percentage of football and basketball talk on Gaynold's site, but the talk is censored or undermined and it's a haven for senile ranting Mormon boosters who rant and Walla Walla braggarts and all their devotees, plus lawyers who post their wife in underwear. Gorst and Auburn both suck and I hope I never set foot in either place again. I definitely won't be hitting up the Cosmo clubs there. I have no clue where Maltby even is, but I know it sucks there too.

Chest needs to focus on his new venture and stop trying to control the behavior of the fanbase. In so doing, he's already playing toady to the AD and her feel-good branding efforts.
