The clear purpose of this type of event to to show improvement, year over year. It's not intended to be comparable to something like the NFL combine. Despite that, I'm with @GrundleStiltzkin. Why not electronically time? Likely a cost issue, but WTF do I know.
Vertical and broad jump, however, are legit. 11'+ broad jump and 40"+ vertical jump are damn impressive. Dotson/Pettis would have tied for the 3rd best broad/vertical jump at this year's combine. Impressive.
@HuskyinAZ is right, the purpose of this shit is to show improvement, not compare to the NFL combine.
King has great numbers and he's also good at football. Hope he makes a big leap since this is really only his second year being a corner.
Really hope Daniels can reach his potential as receiver. His hands were holding him back at one point but perhaps not anymore. 6'4 240 with that speed...he can be devastating in the open field.
You can really tell the S&C program is working. Budda is jacked, way more so than Rapp, who is 2015. Two year difference though. Rapp has the frame to be a 220lb thumper. He will be a real enforcer in a few years.
Pettis scored really high but the kid looked physically small. He's great in the open field but he needs more toughness and strength. Maybe it won't matter if Ross' presence gives him more opportunities.
Other guys who stood out physically were the Texas boys, Trevor Walker and Myles Rice. Rice was listed anywhere from 215 to 225 as a recruit. He's 6'4 238 on the roster now. He's a project but he has the size already and he still has 5 years to play 4, right?

Also, are the kids working harder than ever?

Coleman with the agility is more of a shocker.
Ross - 1
Pettis - 0
LaCement Colemud - 4
Budda Baker - 2
Kevin King - Drops weight on neck without spotter, dies
Who won the hot dog eating contest at the end?
