FWAA, ESPN, and PFF all gave him Freshman All-American honors. Pretty much everywhere else gave him 2nd team. -

Glad Gaines got recognized. He's very good, I think the 3rd most impressive freshman. Pup, and only Pup has been tooting his horn ALL year. He's got all conference ability. He domminates one-on-one...not every down, but th a t will come. He'll require double teams soon. As ive been saying all year, he's a pure bull rusher. When he sheds a little pudge, and learns technique look out. Not bad for a scout 3-star (scout's star system is so flawed).
