I'm going to need to see evidence that health care costs have slowed their massive gains. Not even sure what that sentence means. Does that mean costs rose tremendously under Obamacare, but are now finally slowing? Or does it mean that costs are retreating since Obamacare? Or something else? Please enlighten.

It means health care costs were growing at 8-10% a year or whatever. And now they are growing at 3-5% or whatever. My personal insurance stayed the same 2 years ago (my firm shopped insurance and changed after the current provider said 5% increase). That would have very harmful economic repercussions. You are now incentivizing taking on debt for those who may not need to. Why pay for a house with cash when you can take out a 20 year mortgage and have it count against future taxable income?Mad_Son said:
