Strausser is a piece of shit.
His accomplishments areMcGary (who I think Pete recruited), Wattenberg (who he had to take a kid who had ZERO FBS offers as friend insurance) and Roberts (who was probably coming here anyway).
Adams was already committed and everyone else had no other decent offers.
He also lost Calvin Throckmorton and failed to offer Shane Lemieux.
So, we have gotten 3 and 2 OLs in the last classes, two of the five suck and Wattenberg showed up at around 250.
Also: no black people with FBS offers. -

I don't think Vera Tucker would be considered "close to home" for USC ... I think I saw that there was a DB prospect that was choosing between USC and UCLA earlier in the week on Biggins's twitter feed -
