Sometimes the value of a walk-on isn't that they go out and become an all Pac-12 player but that they prevent you from having to play a true freshman or they just provide depth. I agree that EH was mediocre but he fit our scheme and was decently effective for two years as a starter. We?'ve wasted scholarships on shittier players than EH.

Walk ons were also going to save us from the crippling sanctions that we still suffer from
