In my ten plus years of frequenting Husky Football websites, there have been tons of threads about walk-ons and how some guys might be a sleeper. Only one turned out to be worth a shit (Evan Hudson) and he still pretty much sucked.
But if not Evan Hudson then who else?
Sometimes the value of a walk-on isn't that they go out and become an all Pac-12 player but that they prevent you from having to play a true freshman or they just provide depth. I agree that EH was mediocre but he fit our scheme and was decently effective for two years as a starter. We?'ve wasted scholarships on shittier players than EH.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict this guy sucks.

You are forgetting the legendary walk on of all walk ons. Some guy that turned down a USC schollie to walk on

And yes, I forget his name too
What dumb fuck does that? Walks on at UW vs scholly at SC?
I do remember that...has to be a substory. And parents had money, right?

He was from Mercer Island
Not everyone from the Rock (ILTCMITR) has money. Ever been down Island Crest Way? I'd rather walk down Crenshaw at 10pm on a Saturday night.

Oh well, can't turn down a UTEP education.
