Are we ever going to win 10 games?

Seriously. It's been what, 16 years?

Petersen has one signature win in 2 years.

The program has less than five signature wins since 2000, maybe one of them was on the road.

No accountability.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Meanwhile Harbaugh comes in and wins 10 in his first season. Makes it look easy.

Yet people act like that's all you need to do is go HIRE the right guy. Well, there's only one Jim Harbaugh. One. There's lots of wannabe Jim Harbaugh's (Mora) but it takes a certain alpha dog in order to transform a team that quick. Michigan had tons of talent at his disposal but there is no denying his ability to bring the best of out his players and win.

AD's try to convince themselves that they've hired the right guy, but when it comes down to it there is only one Saban. One Urban & one Harbaugh. The rest are fakes.

Let's go through the games....wins in boldRutgers, Idaho, Portland State, Stanford, Oregon State, USC and Arizona State.

They are going to win 5 road games? No fing way.

Here are the road games....wins in bold.

    Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Cal, WSU

I see 8 wins. They have to beat Utah on the road and either USC or Arizona State at home to get to 10.

    I don't see it.

ASU sucks, Utah sucks, Oregon sucks, USC is a bunch of underachieving prima donnas.

There isn't a single team on the schedule that we will be big underdogs to. Stanford will likely be the best team on the schedule but we get them at home.

We lose one great player from a team that finished top 15 in the nation in SRS. The last time we were in a similar situation of such little talent graduating was 2012-2013 and that 2013 team could have won the conference with better coaching and a TE that gave a fuck (and we were way better in 2015 than 2012 according to SRS.)

If we have a real coaching staff this time we will win 10 games AT MINIMUM next year.

So, you don't think CP & SmithFS will find a way to fuck up 2-3 winnable games rather easily? Maybe I'm a little too pessimistic.
Idaho, PSU, Rutgers, Arizona, OSU, Cal will all suck HARD next year. That is 6 wins.

The next level are OK teams: Utah, ASU, WSU. I have us losing to ASU just because that seems like something that would happen. Utah loses their entire offense (Their offense was Wilson, Booker and Covey). WSU will be tuff because it is their super bowl and we are due for a loss, but I think we pull it off. 8 wins.

Next level are good teams with talent: USC, Oregon. USC comes to UW in November in what feels like the first time in forever and their schedule is BRUTAL. Win. I actually think this might be the year we beat Oregon, but I'll believe it when I see it. 9 wins.

Really good teams with talent: Stanford is losing a great deal of talent, but they are still Stanford. Getting them early with a new QB will be helpful and their front 7 is losing a ton. 10 wins.

I would put Arizona at the top of your OK teams list partly because they will be decent and partly because ASU, WSU, and Utah are going to suck.

Arizona has two QBs better than most other team's starters, a stable of RBs and slot ninja WRs, and a good OL. Rich rods offense will, as usual, put up a lot of points.

Their defense couldn't possibly be any worse than 2015. Losing Scooby doesn't hurt since he barely played anyways. They should be better and deeper up front and if Yates instills a more aggressive scheme that should help cover up the deficiencies in the secondary.
