Well said. I think impartial observers who do their due diligence will come away impressed with the potential of this team. The only real issue is the WR corps. RB is absolutely elite. QB could be anything from good-to-elite. OL should be good. DL good. LB superstar laden. DB arguably best position group on the team. Schedule not too daunting.

Of course, we all know better. Because we're UW and until we don't collapse in a sea of fire and brimstone in October -- expect the worst.

The Rutgers game will be like Illinois last year. They're both Big Ten bottom feeders, and it's not going to be that close. Losing to Rutgers would not be the UW thing to do. Getting our annual trouncing from Oregon, Stanford, and one of Arizona/ASU would be the UW thing to do.
