RGIII has always been a great natural talent with loads of athleticism. If he wants to stick he needs to hit the film room and learn how to read a defense and try to pick up some of the intangibles that white quarterbacks have.
Wait - I slipped out of code there.
In all seriousness, while I applaud the American way of getting paid as much as you can, his leap into endorsements was notable even for this day and age. Too much without anything to back it up probably caused some locker room issues.
Tons of talent. Speed. Accurate passes. Plays hard.
But that was all before the latest knee injury. Maybe he's had enough time to get it back. He's young enough to do so.
But there was something missing with him... when everything was going well in 2012, the offensive lined played well for him (and at Baylor they seemed to). 2013/2014, suddenly that line didn't block for him, but sure did for other QBs. Bigger than the team, his own brand, etc, that bullshit doesn't play with the O-line. And his 2012 wasn't sustainable. He had to learn to read defenses for a pro-style passing offense and hasn't done it. One read, maybe 2 and run.
QBs always get better when they leave the Redskins but he's going to need to learn how to read defenses and develop a pocket presence. And learn how to become part of a team, not just be the team.

Given the terms you've outlined, he needs to go to New Orleans.
Edit. I always think manning has earned the right to make the call, but from a business side, ya dump him.

He'll "retire" at the end of this year ...
Or learn why this is a young man's game when he gets broke for good next year.
