Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
Huskies led Iowa 33-7 at halftime. Don James started pulling starers in the third quarter. Hoffmann told the story in our book (Husky Hitman) about how he and Emtman were turning over chairs on the sideline and pissed off. Iowa mounted a rally, starters went back in. Huskies won 46-34.

Oh wait, I guess that's right.
Not in the middle of the store.
Edited because I suck at this internet thing, here is the text:
Who? Derek Johnson, that's "who". DJ (I like to call him that) has the Husky Football program dialed in. A real page turner from start to FINISH! It is obvious that not only is he a technically gifted writer, but more importantly from reading this book it sounds like he cares. Another great book in his vast collection of insightful exposes on the history of our Huskies.
There are 5 Reasons you will enjoy this book:
1) Derek Johnsen - He's the best writer in the genre of UW Football historical books, enough said on that. He has 4 other books under his belt and has done everything possible to write another winner.
2) Words per page - They average # of words per page is 332. Each chapter is ready to dominate your attention. Chapters about Hoffman, James, Brunell, Lambright, Ossai etc. Each chapter is unique and each has attitude and is ready to rumble.
3) Hoffman - New topic on the glory years of UW Football and a new attitude. Every person who has read this book has spoke out about the difference between The Husky Hitman and Bow Down To Willingham. When you read this book you will see a much improved story on a great time in UW Football history.
4) Speed, Speed, Speed - This is the fastest UW Football book I have read in a long time. Each chapter reads so quickly. Chapters covering Hall, Kaufman, Vea, etc are all real page turners and I as I read the book, I couldn't put it down. While a newbie to Derek Johnson's books, I found that in this exploit he brought something to UW history that I hadn't seen before in other books, speed of reading.
5) Shipping Time - I think shipping from Amazon can dominate the time of shipping this book to you. The more they can shorten the time the book takes to get to you, the faster you can have it to start to enjoy this amazing read.
This book is a bargain at what it is selling for. I would purchase it rather easily at a much higher price, say $34.17?
I am hopeful Derek Johnson will soon publish another book soon about the Steve Sarkisian regime, titled "The House That Sark Built." Derek Johnson was the second most critical person I know about Sark, but either way it would be interesting to hear his take on things. There is an 81% chance I would buy this novel the day it came out, quite honestly.
As soon as I learn to read I'll read it.
