There's definitely an opening in the decline of the middle class that the repubs can attack, but if Romney can't do it what make you think that a demagogue like Cruz or Trump can?

Perhaps because the usual script of calling GOP candidates stuff like demagogues will fall on empty ears when the alternative is an empty pant suit

The opening is open borders and failure to protect the homeland
A used car salesman like Cruz will never win the presidency, nuff said. Face too narrow, words too poisoned. Body positivism and all aside, he's just not what you look for in the ideal Republican nominee for the White House.

But like I said, there's definitely something there in the growing inequality and economic malaise in this country that the GOP can exploit.

Too bad the GOP messaging on Hispanics is so negative, you? Could really use those votes.
It's a new world friend. Cruz will destroy Hills in debate. Our (?) first Hispanic president will be a GOP elected with the white vote

    I want a Cruz/Kasich ticket.

Casino owners and drug cartel managers teaming up have always done great things in this country.

I imagine a future of abundance where every city's downtown is like Las Vegas, Hookers roam the sidelines, and drugs flow like the Nile river before the US glassed the middle east.

Okay. So what about the messaging is anti-hispanic? Not including trump's generalizations

You can only claim that his allegations of amorality and criminality toward illegals don't impact the overall Hispanic vote if you think there's no cultural connection between the two groups. And that's simply not true.

I'm not falling for that bait.

Of course debates are subjective, and I'm sure each side will think their? candidate won.

That being said, Hillary has had eight years in the system and she's probably the best debater in the field, no question. Cruz just needs time to get his voters in there.
