Name three active P12 coaches...

(And just for the sake of argument, the judges will accept Wittingham and Mora. Even though Utah and UCLA would make that trade in a nanosecond.)

Shaw, mora, Whittingham
Not that those guys are great coaches but I'd take them over petersen -
Great pick the tallest midget as always. Shaw is clearly better and probably has been severely under rated by this racist Missouri like bored. Stanford is long past Harbaugh, they dipped last year and are back on track for a 3rd Pac 12 title in 4 years. But I thought Oregon won the league every year?
I would like Mora ball better even though we'd still lose to Oregon and Stanford every year.
Point is, who gives a fuck? If Petersen can't get it done he has to go -
The Pac-12 doesn't have a good coach. That's why there won't be a Pac team in the playoffs again. Been that way since Chip left.
-
Disagree. Wittingham and Shaw atop the power rankings.TTJ said:...you'd trade Peterman for.

Dick Rod and Graham plummeting. Lots of rumors that RR is going to VaTech.

RichRod to the Hezbollah Bobcats
-
Price, Doba, WULFF!

If ucla would trade 10 win mora for Petersen, fuck it, get the roommate radio fucktards making pies this time.
Mora is far from perfect but he is better than 5-4 Steve, which is something Petersen can't say.
You are obviously just a CIA plant trying to make terrorists look bad -
Shaw, Wittingham Mora is the list (in that order). Probably no one else.
I disagree that UCLA or Utah makes those trades though. Maybe UCLA. No way Utah does that. -
I was kind of thinking about this... If we could fire Petersen and hire Tom Herman, I would do it in one second despite the fact Herman has only been a head coach for one year.
As for the PAC 12... I would easily trade Shaw.. The rest are all tough decisions, but I can't say for certain that Petersen is better than Whittingham, Graham, Mora, or even Helfrich. -
If UW hired Shaw, I will become an Oregon fan. I'm not racist. Don't twist.
-
You didn't limit position coaches or coordinators, so I'm going with:
1) Pellum
2) Frost
3) Smith
4) Helf
5) Leach
6) Graham
7) Mike MacIntyre -

Totally gone full Doog. Who told you Oregon wins it every year?. Did that come to you in a dream?
Maybe it seems that way because they have doubled up Stanford for league titles the last 6 years. They are however the only two teams to win the title over that span. Feel sorry for the rest of the Norte. -

I get a little flustered when I see a former champion struggle.

It is all a murky middle of mediocrity.
It is very easy to find an average or even slightly above average coach at a school with the money and tradition of UW.
It is very difficult to find the coach who can take you to the top. That is why you should move on and swing for the fences again with an up and comer like Herman or Fuente as soon as it is clear the current regime isn't getting it done.
It's getting close for CP... -
All this Shaw talk.

Doogs hate winners. And shaw has done a lot of winning at Stanford. He screws up a lot and is certainly not elite. But anyone who would take petersen over him at this point is delusionalTTJ said:All this Shaw talk.

The Shaw hate out here has reached Mike Riley > Pete Carroll territory. Yes, Shaw has made some FS in game decisions, much like Carroll. He's a machine at recruiting and developing though, instills toughness and discipline and mostly he's a winner.TTJ said:All this Shaw talk.
At some poont people will realize he's doing a damn good job there. I'd take him in a heartbeat. -
I was really down on him after northwestern. We'll see how he ends the season but right now he's proving me wrongdnc said:

Side thought, who is the Stanford OC? is he any good? How much is he being paid? Does he have the balls to tell Pete to fuck off?dnc said:

It is my doogliest dream to one day see UW lineup and play in a power run, TE heavy offense like Michigan or Stanford does. -
Lol. Shaw is notorious for dumb in-game decisions and play calling. See those awesome red zone finishes against USC last year.
This bored would want him shitcanned after one game. -
This statement is true about virtually any coach out there. Doesn't mean Shaw's not a damn good coach.doogville said:Lol. Shaw is notorious for dumb in-game decisions and play calling. See those awesome red zone finishes against USC last year.

So I'm hearing we should ignore Shaw's well-documented game management issues because he has a 49-13 (.790) record. And I'm also hearing we should fire Peterman and his 104-23 (.819) record because of alleged game management issues. Interesting.

Those records are apples to oranges and you know thatTTJ said:So I'm hearing we should ignore Shaw's well-documented game management issues because he has a 49-13 (.790) record. My issue with Peterman is his offense sucks. That's not just game management, that's scheme, selection of assistants, development and game management.TTJ said:So I'm hearing we should ignore Shaw's well-documented game management issues because he has a 49-13 (.790) record. And Peterman's Boise record comes with a pretty major record. Yes, the Stanford Shaw inherited >>>> the UW Peterman inherited, but Shaw is 35-6 in conference and that's not counting 2-0 in P12 championship games. He's 37-6 against the Pac.
At UW, Peterman is 6-9. He's already lost three more conference games than Shaw has with 31 fewer wins.
I'm not on the Fire Peterman bandwagon yet. I'm willing to give him one more year. But I'm seriously concerned. And if you wouldn't trade him for Shaw @GrandpaSankey has a doctor you should visit. -
I was leading the lynch Shaw movement here and I apologize to any Missouri students reading this from their safe place. But he is proving over time to be the real deal.
It's like some of you don't even pay attention. Yes we want to fire every coach after every loss but not really. If Petersen was 92-12 here we'd be lining up to suck his dick.
But Jerry, I don't give a fuck about Boise State. I'm a Husky fan and his record here sucks.
Shaw survived the end of the Harbaugh era and has his own guys in there and is still winning the conference. So he goes 11-1 who gives a fuck about the Northwestern game.
If UW went 11-1 this year I'd be over the Boise loss. Maybe. You don't have to be unbeaten to win the natty anymore. UW has been unbeaten once in 100 years. Oregon never has. If Stanford has it was a century ago. Even USC rarely goes unbeaten. Bama drops a game every year.
A guy who recruits big linemen and runs the shit out of the ball would be a great Husky coach. If he wins and Shaw wins.
Every coach makes stupid decisions in the game because we are watching from the comfort of mom's basement with nothing better to do than second guess.
It's called being a fan. If you're point is to claim Petersen is better than Shaw you are simply wrong. I'm sure there are better coaches than Shaw but not all that many -

Save this -
Shaw has been there long enough to be rid of the Hardbaugh's players crutch. He's not elite but they always have a great o line, usually haveca good defense, and they kick people's ass physically. It's sort of how Dawg football was.
So yeah, gun pointed at head, he seems great now. I'm willing to LIPO and see where the program is at next 11/10. If it's 4-5 or 5-4 and Hungry Bowl time, Petersen needs to hit the road.
